Hey Robert, Sarah, and girls! My name is Heath, and I felt I should send you all a message to let you know how much you mean to my family! I know you probably get thousands of messages on a daily basis, but here is mine; it’s kind of long so I will make it short. You all have changed my family’s life. I have been stuck in a rut for a long time. We foster a baby girl and have two girls of our own. The ups and downs of fostering, although very rewarding, has taken a toll on me mentally. I have felt massively disconnected with life, family, and my relationship with God! He has used you all to reconnect all of those things in my life. I love to fish and haven’t hunted in years. I came across this channel about 5 months ago randomly looking for fishing videos...Robert was catching crabs with some fans. He had so many interesting facts, and the main thing was his love for God, family, and life was super inspiring. Next thing you know, I am a subscriber to “DeerMeatForDinner,” “Deer Mom,” and “Blue Gabe!” Then my wife was like, “Wow! I am not an outdoors person at all and this is amazing!” So we started watching all the channels regularly. I thought to myself, “This is awesome! This is something we can do together; watch the channels and then go do them ourselves!” The story gets better. Now, all three of my girls ask me every night if we can watch all your guys TH-cam programs!” We cuddle up together, laugh, smile, and experience the pure joy as a family! Today, beings that we live in the Midwest, found ourselves at the fish market to get some fish. I would have bought some, but since it will be a few days until my Everglades seasonings (never had it before until watching your channel) and stove top grill pan (didn’t even know they existed until DMFD) gets here, I did not buy any. You do not know me, but I feel like I have known you all for years! I am a huge fan! I can honestly say that everyone has those people in life they look up too, and I know that you and Sarah have never met me, but you all are my heroes! You have taught me about family, friendship, outlook on life, love for God, and his blessings! I am happy to report, I am now out of my rut, very happy, inspired, and filled with Joy because God used and continues to use you all! You all are amazing people! I thank you for being the vessels that have changed my family’s life with your videos! Now, we are getting ready to watch the most recent DMFD video. We are caught up on all the channels. I grew up in Rhode Island. Every Friday night my father would bring home a huge thick piece of swordfish and he would cook it on the grill ... butter and fresh lemons went with it. Consequently, swordfish is my all time favorite fish. Thanks for the memory Rob, great video!!!

I've never commented on your videos before but I love watching. I live in los angeles now but lived right by lighthouse point on spring st. for many years in one of my fathers apartment complexes. Watching your videos really makes me miss south florida and all the great things to do there. my father and I would go fishing almost everyday I had off work but we never went out for swordfish.
