I enjoy true sounding musical instruments and the ban that plays them it is way better than computerized music and electronic musical instruments IMO. Thank you for your wonderful reaction to Angelina she is one of the best singer that I have ever hear in my life time Angelina Jordan and Karen Carpenter always brings pleasure to my soul. Thank you again. Smile.

Her mother had Angelina rewrite the lyrics as they were not age appropriate. Some were rewritten on the way to the studio.

She is truly a Gift. She soothes my soul. Thank you for the Great Reaction. Check her out of her 1st studio audition of I Who Have Nothing @ 6yrs of age. She is one that Surprises you on every rendition.

Also in same studio age 6, she does Rolling in the Deep. Not as good as I Who Have Nothing. But good try. I think you could do these two together. These were probably the deciding factor to put her in Norway's Got Talent
Also Angelina only takes off her shoes when she performs. (See the beginning of I Put a Spell on You. She is removing her shoes.)

This was actually the 2nd take. The first one was great by me but when they asked Angelina what she thought of it, she simply replied "YUCK".

Angelina rightfully earned her place as a national treasure in her native Norway and she deserved and got the best musicians Norway had to offer.

Love the reaction recklezz. As you have seen in other comments this 10 year old re-wrote the lyrics on the fly and then performed this song perfectly. And yes, shout out always to the band or orchestra who accompany Angelia, and in this case KORK, the National Radio Orchestra of Norway. BTW, thank you for including the links to the original and Angelina's cover channel. You are a class guy, much appreciated by her fans.

She was 10 years old here. Her mother didn’t approve of the lyrics, so on the way to the taping, she rewrote the lyrics and that was why she was looking at the music. I like to watch the violinist in the background watching her. The clapping got louder after you turned it off!

Angelina was scheduled to record this song on April 22, 2016. Her mother was not comfortable with the lyrics. Angelina re-wrote them on April 21, edited them on her way to the studio, recorded the song on April 22, and released it on April 23. You can see her glancing at the lyrics while singing.
A true example of a prodigy.
Thank you for your always genuine reactions.

@@kristena9285 yes. Angelina was not very pleased with some segments of her performance. A second take of some segments were edited in.
Here is Angelina in the studio listening to song. You can tell her mind is at work analyzing and thinking of how she can improve it. We are witnessing a musical genius in action. th-cam.com/video/eyCxlDo-wis/w-d-xo.html

@@davidtouma4878 Yes I have seen it. She waved her mother over and was not satisfied about her own timing in some point in the song. Her mother passed this on to the MD. But producing this video (post production editing, several cameras, sound, syncro etc) in 24 hours is crazy fast.

The reason the applause was scattered is cause the band was confused.. that was the first take 👍🏼

Thanks for a little bio Recklezz. Brought back memories. Yes, the band deserves recognition and they could have given AJ more than that weak ass clap. This is the prestigious Norwegian Radio Orchestra so I'll cut em some slack. LOL I was in 6th grade when the middle school band director brought instruments to choose if you wanted to be in band. I chose trumpet. Loved band all thru 12th grade. Senior year we traveled all over Europe for 17 days and played a concert at each country visited. Even under the Eiffel Tower in Paris. I played 2nd chair first part. Learned to play french horn for concert band. Loved Xmas when the string orchestra and the choir joined the band for Christmas concerts. btw Tuba players were hard to come by. Got to play at all the football games in marching band, state contests, parades, and various concerts at different venues. The best part of school was band class. Also, back then there was no air conditioning in most classrooms but the band room was air conditioned and in South Florida that was a big deal! Really appreciate learning more about you and appreciate that you're on the same wave length as far as younger people listening to Angelina and emulating who she is. Hope that she will attract young people as she becomes more well known. GREAT REACTION!!

She changed a lot of this song because the original would not be appropriate for a child to read much less sing in public . I thought she did A great job rewriting the song and performing it . Enjoyed your reaction again

Nice to hear a little background Recklezz! Certainly agree about the importance of the band with any song. Angelina makes sure they contribute and not detract which happens sometimes.

Too Much Brother! I played TUBA more than any other instrument and I miss it still! I started with 'bone but our tubas sucked so I moved over and eventually learned from the flute and clarinet-ists the benefits of my solid embouchure. :-D
