@@IamMagPie The visa application when the Beatles toured Japan in 1966. Supposedly, Denny Laine had to go get a letter from the Queen to get Faul back.

Sounds about right. Paul likes to dominate and Linda certainly seemed subservient.
Jane Asher was his prior love and were engaged until she caught him fucking around with another woman. Paul found out the engagement was over when Jane announced it on a TV talk show. She was and still is very independent minded. Paul must have known then never to get involved with a strong self made woman. As a matter of fact Jane was an actress before she met Paul who also refused to give up her career for his sake. One heck of an interesting gal in my opinion.
@@kentduryea7109 Paul wants to be the king of the hill. It's not just about Women. One of the reasons why Beatles broke up. Others were having none of it. You can find that except for the rest of the Beatles all other people in Paul's life are subservient to him. He is a control freak.
@@Kate-sx9uh John and Paul can both be control freaks. It is not mutually exclusive situation. Linda was basically Paul's pet. His earlier GF saw this behaviour and dropped him.
Paul basically tied Linda to the piano and make her learn it. Linda did not want to be part of it but the control freak Paul forced her to learn. She wanted to be a stay at home Mum/Wife but Paul wanted to ride the feminism wave. Paul as much admitted to being a control freak in an interview. It is on the TH-cam somewhere.
Even in Wings, his band mates did not like him. He was a penny pinching control freak.

through 1966 the beatles had traveled abroad at times. they all had their fingerprints recorded for interpol. when William traveled to Japan in 1980, his fingerprints did not match the ones on file from the mid 1960s. the Japanese government immediately incarcerated Billy, thinking he was an imposter, Paul. His old friend, Denny Lane, was forced to step in and assemble help from the English crown. Billy says in his book, he was very worried at this time as he thought the jig was up. he admits he was very lucky at the outcome.

When I talk about Wings as a band, I mean their partnership, not friendship. Paul allowed them to express themselves in the interests of their own project. But in the late 70s, he decided to start a solo career again, invented a scandal in Japan to increase sales of the failed Back To The Egg, deprived the band of the opportunity to tour and earn good money. A similar picture was in 1969, when Paul decided to leave. In both cases, he was not worried about the further fate of the partners. And now he goes to interviews and claims that he wrote Michelle alone, that the melody of In My Life belongs to him and that he wrote Strawberry Fields with John. Probably because the level of Wings songs is not up to the level of the Beatles.

Paul did a mistake.Especially with their kids around n'all.I used to love cannabis/weed/pot but was told my kids could be taken away by the CPS if I did'nt stop smoking.It's very strict in most nordic European countries tho'.Even my mother smokes cannabis as of today.She's in her late 60's.Paul was never a Saint.But it's still Paul.Was only 3 or so when this happened,but I must say Paul was a very handsome looking man here.And you can tell his kids love him.Mary looks so happy to see her father,also Linda was'nt masculine.She seemed strong & Independent though.A good mum too.The two of them were obviously a good match.RIP.Linda🙏🏼⚘🕊🍃
