That looks like a really good idea Ian. Uses existing door functionality; does not cause any damage; easily removed if desired; and most importantly it should work!
I fitted mine in less than five minutes, works a treat, and feel a lot safer when it is on and especially with Ian's other tips regards the seatbelt through the cab door handles. Thank you, Ian.

That’s a neat and tidy solution. I assume it can’t accidentally activate itself if the door is slammed?
The O ring is in compression when fitted and so should provide enough friction to maintain the Hab-Lock position.
