Nung nag audition ako 2007 or 2006 or 2005 ata yun sa pinoy academy big brother ang daming magaling keysa sakin kaya lang na out sila kc it’s the same sound at walang sariling style ng pag kanta. Sa dami dami ng nag audition halos 3k hindi ako makapaniwalang napili ako hanggang huli ng audition. Imagine mga 20 nalang ata kmi napili hanggang huli. Dhil mas priority ng mga judges tlga yung Meron kang ORIGINALITY. Kaya super duper AGREE ako kay Mrs regine alcacid. 👌👌👌😊

Once again, just like in Luke Baylon audition, si Regine lang ang naghahanap ng unique sound and vocals dito. Matik na YES ito sa tatlong judges. Napilitan lang si Regine mag-YES kasi useless na dahil pasok na si ate girl. Pero Regine made sure na mag-lecture at magsermon muna ng bongga bago siya nag-Yes haha

Natural lang naman kay Regine kasi naging veteran singer siya at gusto niya maging honest person kaya sinabi niya sa isang interview na sasabihin kung ano ang totoo. Sa aking lang naman singing competition yan eh hindi naman katulad ng iba na ok lang kahit hindi ok diba.

Regine was just saying her voice wasn't natural at all. It wasn't about the genre. It was about faking and curling your own voice just to sound like a particular singer. Like find your own sound.
Regine's comments on all of these performances are the only ones with substance.

Regine makes an excellent point here. Singers need to have their own voice, their own mark and their own identity. The music industry doesn’t need another Moira or Yeng but someone who can freely explore his or her own unique and beautiful voice. I just hope she finds another genre, study it and slay it. Her voice sounds downright beautiful (I kid you not) but in reality, it’s hard when you actually sound like someone else.

My thoughts about Idol Philippines judges ( No offense meant )
1. Vice Ganda is a good judge, not for a singing contest like Idol philippines tho. (Don't get me wrong, I really love Meme Vice) Okay siya for PGT and Showtime, but to search for a new "singing" Idol ? parang hindi pa para sa kanya yun. Marami naman ang mga magagaling na singer. Like Sarah or Lea etc.
2. Moira. She is so fresh para mag.judge ng ganitong singing contest. Kailan lang sya sumikat, medyo kulang pa sya sa experience to recognize a "TRUE IDOL" and hindi rin siya kasing versatile ni Yeng or ni KZ sa music.
3. James. Gwapo siya. Yun lang.
4. Regine. Hands down. Talagang open sya to criticize the contestant. She really wants to find someone who has a "Unique" voice. Someone who can really be called "Idol". Open sya sa lahat ng genre na ihain sa kanya basta unique ang tunog ng boses and my puso sa pagkanta.
Disclaimer: Wala po akong binabash sa mga judges, ito lang talaga ang mga na.observe ko sa kanila.

You can really see the frustration of Ms. Regine. I share the same sentiments with her. It’s okay that you go with what is the current music style but to stand out as a performer in the 21st century, you have to find your own self to share with the world. Yes, i agree to be an idol philippines you must have a singing style, not just being to impersonate someone. The voice is there, the genre is good. But you need to find a signing style that is unique to the other artist,.

Regine is looking for uniqueness and originality. That's what she mean.
I think regine was talking about the tone of the singer... I guess what they're doing that made regine upset was they're singing by making their sound something else... But what regine want is you should sing that genre using your own tone.. not by sounding like it.

Dito malalaman mo sa mga viewers kung sino ang merong good judgment when it comes to technicalities in singing. You see, Regine is talking about curling of tongue, sa isang nag audition she even talked about vocal chords.. Ni isa sa mga katabi niya nga walang technicality na in deeper sense na discuss.

The sound our generations aspiring artists go for are almost the same, not similar but the same. Regine was in a generation where in everybody had their own style that you can recognize the artist right away. Regine is trying to promote uniqueness. Be your own thing because if you can be you nobody can steal that from you.

When i heard her sing, i actually liked her voice. And hindi ko naisip na may kinokopya sya kundi yun tlga yung voice nya. But totoo naisip ko din nung narinig ko yung song na uy ang ganda ang galing ng song parang mga naririnig ko sa tv/radyo. Yun siguro pinupunto nila pero i still like her performance :))
Sorry pero nakakairita talaga umarte si Moira, Oo may boses sya pero the way she moves and act is quite irritating. Regine is really amazing and one of the best kaya alam nya kung ano ang sinasabe nya.

I'm watching the videos in #IdolPhilippines channel over and over again, I'm getting why the judges don't just say yes right away if there's only a potential or that person could sing.
