Dusan Dragovic & Valeria Agikyan … where do I begin. You have forever changed the way I feel about Ballroom Dance. Watching you compete was nothing compared to the focus, the creativity and the vision that you portrayed in your show at Baden Baden. I was totally mesmerized. I felt a rainbow of emotions and a deep connection… and that was BEFORE I learned that Valeria is Israeli and the premise of the piece was about finding stillness in this ever chaotic world.
I myself am Israeli and Dusan & Valeria, you both really hit it home for me… and without ever speaking a word.
These past few years have been simply insane. With everything going on in the world. Life can seem bleak, but every once in a while you see something that gives you hope and inspiration, and that’s what dancing is about.
