1) master DSA & diving into CP
2) do 4-5 project
3) basic knowledge in our work (if frontend have some basic idea in HTML,CSS and angular,react)
4) have some hood communication skills

After you feel you are comfortable with some amount of DSA, start applying for companies. Don't worry about career gap, just focus on learning skills. If you have right skills, company will hire you for sure.
