I don't think it was a good idea for Yuan Ze to let her keep it... Like, the child would grow up and look more and more like Fu Shen Xing and there would even be a possibility she cannot genuinely love the child. I agree, I feel like the author is either pro forced birth or actually kinda liked fu shen Xiang. Cause at the end of the story he got almost everything he wanted. He didn’t want to go to prison and live without her so he got to kill himself, he wanted more than anything for her to give birth to his child and she did. I thought the 2nd part be like- it was yuan who wanted her to keep the child and she did but as later time passes, the child resembles Mr. Fu more which will trigger heyan night mares and she began to resent the child as ofc its product of rape. He yan will have other kids with Yuan and will love them but will be indifferent to Mr. Fu's son, even though she tries to be good to him but the looks will only bring the horrible memories. But yuan ze will be good father to all. Even the grandparents will hate the kid as what THEIR daughter been through and u know the story goes the boy grew up yearning for mother's love and find the answer y his mother hates him. He becomes good elder brother to his half siblings. Something happens which triggers worse memory of he yan to attack the kid. Yuan ze tell the kid to forgive his mother. He cries, being hated, neglected. Only people good to him was his younger sister and Yuan ze. He later ran away cuz he wanted to make his mother happy as she wants the kid gone. But the younger sister does not want to part away but he promised her he will be in contact with her and bids bye last time to his mother tell I am sorry and be happy and leaves the house. He wanders around the streets for days blaaa bla bla h. He actually found out that yuan ze is not his real father and his father did horrible things to his mother which made her to resent him. He didn't know that his father died before his birth and wanted to find information about his real father. Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Great story. In the end, he was extremely dangerous and got what he deserved. What he had for her was not love- it was obsession and with obsession comes control. He never respected her autonomy but what he meant to him and his own guilt catching up to him. therefore she could never find happiness in him especially because she already had her soulmate. He put her through unspeakable hell and multiple people lost their lives for his self-gratfying delusion. She pitied him, knowing that he never got the real chance to be normal, but it was already past the point of no return.

I see a lot of people saying that his child will end up suffering but I don’t believe that. I am really glad i got the chance to read this masterpiece I can't believe i read this whole manhwa in just one day.....a bitter sweet ending indeed, still I don't know why i have a soft spot for the ml, kinda wanted him to live not with fl obviously but still I wanted him to live in jail atleast where he could have seen his son and repented his sins.

On the other hand, i quite like Fu Shenxing. He's very very smart that he can help the business from collapse, as we can see how much grandfather 'respected' him in the first. He's able to handle things in less than 7 years. I think there's a plot hole in there, how could a criminal boy from the street can become a successful businessman? The author didn't explain a lot. If he was on the straight path, he would be a good husband & good father, and maybe the best match with Ah Yan (considering they both smart and cunning). Sadly it won't happen.

Well I think people CAN change. That doesn't mean he should be relieved of his sins but if anyone's gonna face the consequences of his actions its definitely the future him. U can't deny he's a monster, but if a monster turns human, is that human allowed to hate that monster? Can't we sympathize with that human? I agree, I feel like the author is either pro forced birth or actually kinda liked fu shen Xiang. Cause at the end of the story he got almost everything he wanted. He didn’t want to go to prison and live without her so he got to kill himself, he wanted more than anything for her to give birth to his child and she did. It pisses me off that in the beginning of the story she begs him to kill her but he refuses because then she wouldn’t suffer enough but he let himself die to end his own suffering. Anyway do you know why xiao wu betrayed him in the end?
I thought the 2nd part be like- it was yuan who wanted her to keep the child and she did but as later time passes, the child resembles Mr. Fu more which will trigger heyan night mares and she began to resent the child as ofc its product of rape.
He yan will have other kids with Yuan and will love them but will be indifferent to Mr. Fu's son, even though she tries to be good to him but the looks will only bring the horrible memories. But yuan ze will be good father to all. Even the grandparents will hate the kid as what THEIR daughter been through and u know the story goes the boy grew up yearning for mother's love and find the answer y his mother hates him. He becomes good elder brother to his half siblings. Something happens which triggers worse memory of he yan to attack the kid. Yuan ze tell the kid to forgive his mother. He cries, being hated, neglected. Only people good to him was his younger sister and Yuan ze. He later ran away cuz he wanted to make his mother happy as she wants the kid gone. But the younger sister does not want to part away but he promised her he will be in contact with her and bids bye last time to his mother tell I am sorry and be happy and leaves the house.
He wanders around the streets for days blaaa bla bla h. He actually found out that yuan ze is not his real father and his father did horrible things to his mother which made her to resent him. He didn't know that his father died before his birth and wanted to find information about his real father. Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Great story. In the end, he was extremely dangerous and got what he deserved. What he had for her was not love- it was obsession and with obsession comes control. He never respected her autonomy but what he meant to him and his own guilt catching up to him. therefore she could never find happiness in him especially because she already had her soulmate. He put her through unspeakable hell and multiple people lost their lives for his self-gratfying delusion. She pitied him, knowing that he never got the real chance to be normal, but it was already past the point of no return.

The story was really good until he captured her again and the ending was not good in my opinion and I think it shows that the author actually likes fu shen Xiang. he didn’t get to live a normal happy life with he yan but he got everything else that he wanted. What he wanted the most of everything was for her to give birth to his child and she did. He didn’t want to live without he yan so he killed himself even though, in the beginning of the story He yan begs him to kill her but he doesn’t let her because then she wouldn’t suffer enough but he gave himself that mercy. This is why at the end he didn’t truly love her like a sane person would. Death is sometimes a mercy and he did not deserve it. I don’t judge people for feeling bad for him because it’s humane to watch a person suffer and feel bad for them even if they know they deserve it. I can’t help but judge the people who romanticizes him and their relationship or tries to imply that she secretly loved him back and that she lied when she said she was faking it. I see a lot of people saying that his child will end up suffering but I don’t believe that. With what I’ve seen of her personality I think if she put her mind to it she could easily love the child and not blame them for anything. She always looked out for the young and her students and never blamed them even when they hurt her. I hate the “if you don’t like it then why do you read it? I did like it right up until the end because I don’t agree that he suffered enough and I’m unfortunately not a good enough person to have felt bad at seeing him suffer. I can read about toxic, obsessed yandere when the story is purposefully made unrealistic, cause I feel like author and everyone is on the same page “this would never be ok to ship if it was reality and Stockholm syndrome is real but their love will be made pure for the sake of entertainment” but this was made too realistic and I’m ok with that I’m not only looking for romance but then it should be realistic to the end, he should’ve gone to jail and I would never judge a victim for what they choose to do with their child and body but it would’ve made more sense and be more satisfying of a ending if she did the abortion considering her personality. She wouldn’t judge a kid but she also wouldn’t have given him what he wanted. This is just my personal take and no one has to agree. If I knew his punishment would be a mercy suicide then I wouldn’t have started this. But on the bright side I now know that I don’t mind spoilers and will look up the ending before starting something lol

Although im not satisfied with the ending, i still can understand why the author chose to end it this way (kind of). I think you can sympathize more with Fu coz the novel was written in his perspective almost all of the time. It's like he is the main lead of the story, someone we are rooting for.
