Amen! A lot of the time when I'm postpartum - my body is healing and not capable of what it was before I was pregnant so I get down on myself too! It happens,Our bodies are strong, but we have to condition them!

Also the quilt is perfect for a boy i have 10yr old boy and i got him something similar and he has had it for 4yrs.I put the quilt in top of his blue sheets and fold it over his quilt and it looks nice and clean.I quit paying character bedding since my son use to change his fav lol.

Always a neutral bedding and walls with neutral curtains. I did decorated with their dolls and cars. Even on the ceiling. They loved their teddy bears protecting them. That was 30 years ago! LMBOOOO just enjoy your time when little a blink of an eye they are men married and a child! 🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻😘❤️

My son wanted all character bedding when we just redid his room, and I didn't want to do something and have to switch it out constantly. So I bought just plain sheets and then bought just a comforter that had his superheros on it. I can have different colored sheets, and he still gets his characters without it being everywhere
Hey Kim! I have 3 boys and they were all potty trained around 4 except my middle one. He was 3ish. Boys just don’t seem to care if they are dirty lol. Mine peed and pooped on the floor 😳 I was done after that, lol. Someone once told me that he won’t be going to college in pampers so I tried to remind myself of that, lol. Hope it helped 👍🏼😂
I highly recommend Pottery Barn Kids for a quilt for him if you can find a good sale. We bought a crib quilt and matching twin comforter when I was pregnant with my now 8 year old and both have held up beautifully. My baby now has the crib quilt and it still looks brand new and my older son still has the twin comforter. It has some plaids and some nautical print so it's not too babyish.
You could always get like solid blue or solid red bedding or something of that sort for his bed. We ended up skipping the toddler bed for our 3 yr old, and we just passed down one of our older two boys bedding sets. But we're getting all three of them new bedding for Christmas this year. So I too am on the hunt for kids bedding.
We have 3 bookshelves full of kids books plus a basket of kids books that I keep in the living room that I switch out seasonally. All of them look like they're "puking books" and I think that's a good thing. It means we have lots of wonderful books and my kids have been reading them. I LOVE kids books.

That’s why it’s $900 because it’s so hot outside and they would have gotten all the work done in a day lol... but if you look around I’m sure you can get it done so much cheaper... I live about 2 hours away from you in Kissimmee and my neighbor paid $400 to have all her landscaping done and that included planting sod and flowers..
My son wasn’t fully potty trained until 3 1/2! Boys are different and sometimes take more time than girls! I didn’t even attempt to potty train before 2... I started around 3 years old and he was done in 6 months with no accidents or problems... he didn’t show any signs of wanting to potty train before then so I went with it🤷🏻♀️
My bedroom is the catch all room in our house. If I can't find a place for something I just put it in my room. I really need to clean my room, but today I'm choosing to not do it lol
@@thewadsquad right!!! No one ever comes to our house anyways. All of our family lives 3 and 4 hours away from us, so we always go to their houses for visits when we can.
I'm glad you took your son out of his crib so early. I feel like it's insane to leave a 3 year old in a crib. I took my kids out of their crib around 14/15 months and never had problems with their bedtime behavior.
I'm the sane way with our apartment. Every room I make it looks nice an decorated a little. An our bedroom is the last room I even think of. The quilt isn't girlie. It's neutral.
When my son was that age (he’s just over 2 1/2 now) same thing with the potty.. then he hit 2 and was absolutely refusing the potty on all accounts.. screaming crying, the whole dramatic scene. When we got confirmation he would be going to preschool I just said “that’s it, no more diapers!”.. took him about 2 weeks to become totally potty trained.. this was at 30 months and since he was more ready it wasn’t that challenging. I think it’s just depending on the kid’s personality when it will happen.

I love watching your vlogs you tell it how it is some vlogs like this dictate how to have your house but you just get on with it, I’m disabled now but I still try and keep my house clean and tidy my two children are in their twenties but they still have mucky bedrooms which I clean when I can but watching you really brightens up my day thank you xx❤️❤️

I really wanted to get a neutral bedding set for my kids too. Instead I ended up with unicorns for my daughter. And paw patrol for my 3 year old son smh lol. I think anything grey is pretty gender neutral though. And my son took awhile to fully potty train and he even wore cloth diapers. He was 2.5 before he was totally done having accidents multiple times a week. Now off to go clean up my messy house lol. Btw I’ve been looking all these redecorating and haul videos! It’s good to be happy with your space. Everyone should be.

I had my first at 23 :) . Looking back I feel like I was a big young, but I don't think there is ever a perfect time to have kids; you just learn as you go! :) . perfection doesn't exist

2 years late to this game, but here none the less. Sooooo do you have a potty training video? You said that your Avalina and Eleanor were potty trained by 2yrs old. My 2.5yr old will use the potty sporadically but I can't figure out how to get her to use it every time.

My younger brother was potty trained in one day. He watched an older cousin use the toilet and would only use the toilet after that. Everyone hates my mom a little bit when she tells this story. Her other son was harder he would walk up to her say I pooped change my diaper.
My youngest son turned 2 july18th, he's a lil behind havent started potty training yet :( and cant get him to talk much yet either. He's my 3rd biological kid, but 4th in line, the oldest is my step-daughter.
Potty training for me has been a breeze. My daughter turned 2 in July and she caught on super fast. Once we started day training she never went overnight again. So she night trained herself. After 2 months of using the rest of her diapers for no reason I decided not to buy anymore. She refuses to pull her pants down to go potty. But I'd rather simply pull her pants down than change diapers all the time.
I'm son is 2 days younger than Wentworth and he has no interest in being potty trained so it's not happening. When did you get Wentworth a big kid bed? I just noticed that he didn't have his crib anymore

The secret to a pretty bookshelf is to keep the extra books in storage. When the 7 books on your shelf get boring you switch them out.
I don't think the quilt is too girly. And it's a good choice because you can use it somewhere else if you decide to change his room later.

I really wanted to get a neutral bedding set for my kids too. Instead I ended up with unicorns for my daughter. And paw patrol for my 3 year old son smh lol. I think anything grey is pretty gender neutral though.
And my son took awhile to fully potty train and he even wore cloth diapers. He was 2.5 before he was totally done having accidents multiple times a week.
Now off to go clean up my messy house lol. Btw I’ve been looking all these redecorating and haul videos! It’s good to be happy with your space. Everyone should be.
Amen to that!! With my girls I was like no princesses - no pink... and then they had frozen everything. haha

I had my first at 23 :) . Looking back I feel like I was a big young, but I don't think there is ever a perfect time to have kids; you just learn as you go! :) . perfection doesn't exist

My son turns 2 December 29th and we have barely started potty training..hes just my baby lol
they only display 7 books, but they always have a storage container they won't show with many many more... :P
2 years late to this game, but here none the less. Sooooo do you have a potty training video? You said that your Avalina and Eleanor were potty trained by 2yrs old. My 2.5yr old will use the potty sporadically but I can't figure out how to get her to use it every time.
Does wentworth still co-sleep with you guys? Because his bed is still next tk yours? Side question: have you sleep trained your kids? Would love a video on that too!

Living room: Pillows on the floor and the covers I put over them are ripped off.
My younger brother was potty trained in one day. He watched an older cousin use the toilet and would only use the toilet after that. Everyone hates my mom a little bit when she tells this story. Her other son was harder he would walk up to her say I pooped change my diaper.
I suggest that you get Regular mattress and then buy boy sheets
My youngest son turned 2 july18th, he's a lil behind havent started potty training yet :( and cant get him to talk much yet either. He's my 3rd biological kid, but 4th in line, the oldest is my step-daughter.

Potty training for me has been a breeze. My daughter turned 2 in July and she caught on super fast. Once we started day training she never went overnight again. So she night trained herself. After 2 months of using the rest of her diapers for no reason I decided not to buy anymore. She refuses to pull her pants down to go potty. But I'd rather simply pull her pants down than change diapers all the time.
I'm son is 2 days younger than Wentworth and he has no interest in being potty trained so it's not happening. When did you get Wentworth a big kid bed? I just noticed that he didn't have his crib anymore
