I love cups and balls. I think a big reason is, is that me and jamy ian Swiss have become pretty good friends and I mean you have got to see his cups and balls
With all due respect to The Professor, his linking rings routine is exceptional! However had I paid for this “instructional” video, I would have been furious and demanded my money back! There is very little instruction going on here and watching this gave me no interest in even getting my rings out of their case.
What's happening with the Saturday Sorcery playlist? Most Saturday videos are cute little ideas to play with. But this is the Symphony of the Rings we're talking about. It's disrespectful to casually toss this into a playlist when so many of the other ideas have little thought put into them. It's one thing to release an idea someone worked on for a few months or a year, but by the time Vernon published this work he had been performing versions of it for at least 20 years. We've all learned from TH-cam. I believe that some exposure (i.e. education) is important to further magic. But the casual nature of this exposure belies the respect and study Vernon's routine deserves. It's place in the playlist tells viewers that this material is just for edutainment. How many actually have a set of rings, and are following along with them in hand? So ok, it's not the end of the world if a few hundred people watch this but never perform it. I'm sure Murphy's has the rights to this, but would Vernon have been happy about this? Outside of ethical issues, it seems disrespectful an inartistic to treat magic like this. I feel this way about a few other videos in the playlist as well. If you read through my rant, thank you for your time and consideration... Especially if you disagree with me. Thank you.
The cup and balls hold a special place in my heart because it was the first trick I learned.
Linking rings or cups and balls have got to be my favourite classics
I have linking rings but clearly need to practice more to get as good as this video. One of my personal favorites is paper to money. Thank you!
Three coin fly is my favourite classic of all time
Fantastic

For me it's Symphony of Rings, also by Vernon.

They don’t care about magic unfortunately. Not really. It’s about clicks and money. 💰 🤑

Cups and balls is my go to classic. Also needle in the arm
Vernon cups and balls is my absolute favorite. When it comes to the linking rings Richard Ross is the king of the rings in my opinion
I have one gimmicked ring and three regular rings including two that are permanently linked.
Hmm. I guess I'll go with Triumph as a favorite classic routine.
