These newer cars are getting closer and closer to resembling their real life counterparts. My guess is in initial days of GTA V Rockstar was worried that they might get sued if they make the cars look too much identical to their real life counterparts. But now since this much time has passed I think Rockstar has become more and more confident in replicating these cars.

There's even a bunch of fans well kids more or less in the comments saying he doesn't rice his cars but ignore that one of his favorite liveries (Shopping list) is the definition of rice. I'm sure all those decals in the shopping list livery added an extra whooping 350 horse power to the car lol.

Putting on whole body kits or individual panels, adjusting the exhaust note, having a proper livery editor, etc. Same goes with other racing games like Forza, and Gran Turismo's performance tuning is really good too! That being said, it's amazing to see a game as old as GTA V getting updates like these
Idk if someone already covered this but fun fact: if you are a low level and you dont have every customization unlocked you have all the options in the auto shop. Normal LS Customs or bennys or even the LS Car meet all will be locked but in the auto shop you get everything from the get go
I find it interesting and quite funny how GTA has some of the most in depth car customization but it's not even a car game. You gotta give them credit where's it due for this stuff.

Pretty interesting that they linked the headlights to the tint. The last time something like that happened was back when the Overflod Tyrant came out. The same thing happened but just with the Tailights instead. I am IN LOVE with this car. The model is just beautiful and the fact they made an original interior? God, this is probably the best car in the update! Oh, and I mean of course I would say that because- read my name.
LOOKS/TUNING 10/10 - PERFORMANCE 5/10, It's really a shame when they nail the design of a car but completely mess up the performance, this thing is not useable in races, it has not much grip, is very bouncy over bumps and overall drives just very mediocre...
Man I'm pissed. I felt the same way. This car is not true to any Porsche performance at all. The Comet SR definitely had way better output. This in my opinion is a disgrace!

Hold on why is it missing liveries? It’s supposed to have one based on the 930 from Cyberpunk 2077… Edit: Every drip feed car is gonna have 5 drip feed liveries, I’m assuming they’re also gonna be locked behind the new RP levels as well, which really sucks.
Yeah that's what I was wondering, normally they just show them as locked but they're not even in the list which is annoying, now people wouldn't be able to see them and probably wouldn't notice them, I just wish they weren't locked behind rep and stuff

Perfecting the art over time... if you go back to their earlier cars, like the zentorno, it looks nothing like the real thing. They've probably learned *exactly* what they can get away with
Cuz while I agree with you on the c8, no car in gta is ‘exactly’ identical to its real life doppelgänger. The c8 look ridiculous identical but trust me I’ve taken my time to spot differences between both game and real life versions.
Why? Because the community asked for more realistic cars probably, and they have the money to deal with potential lawsuit by now. How did they not get sued? Car manufacturers probably don't care since these still aren't "their cars" and they have bigger things to get to.
Even though I'm not a fan of realistic mundane looking cars like this and every Porsche looks the same to me, I gotta say - Rockstar did a terrific job with this

Best suggestion i can give you guys is check out a Walmart or a game store in a small town
Definitely looks as well. Porsche is widely known to be much more forgiving of its brand depiction in games compared to other brands like Ferrari and the like. They usually are among the first ones to allow use of their name/replicas in games.

I just bought this car on sale and it's gorgeous. Rockstar have fixed the license plate shadow bug. The stock seats are a unique design that really pops if you pick a bright colour for the stitching. Also, you're not crazy DCA, blue and yellow are complimentary colours and they look great on this car.
i just hate people failing to pronounce "Porsche" correctly. either way nice to see only one hard mode Cayo heist to buy and fully upgrade the new car, keep up the great content DCA
I customized this one like the green GT3 RS. As much as I could, except for the rear air vent, a detail on the spoiler, exhausts and hood. It looks perfect. I found the perfect tone of green.

You can get around this using a custom crew color. I have at least 30 cars with unique colors (some based on realistic paint finishes).
The high ducktail and the smooth decklid also flip when going at speed, which is nice.

I customized mine before watching your vid, and we did almost the same exact thing. Only difference was I went for the carbon hood and I used a custom crew color. This is my new favorite car by far.
The double clutch on this is car is insane, one of my favorites from the interior to all customizations on my opinion.
