I wanted to work on more of the harder end of the scale at this gym :)
Please be aware that grades are sandbagged, it is better to treat Japanese grades as a means of measuring progression relative to a gym and not overall. I will talk about this further in a video addressing the differences between Western and Japanese gyms.

Hi everyone some important info as I have quite a few people msging me who are arriving close to the time I uploaded this.
27th May to 5th June - 4th floor balcony closed for rennovations
3rd June - Gym closed all day for maintenance

Thanks, every time I go to a japanese gym I try to get a tee. I have quite the collection from a lot of gyms, maybe I will one day go over it in a video :)
That right to left leg change while almost bathanging at the end of las problem is brutal on the core!
The movements in Japanese routesetting ate definitely something!

Hey man dont want to rain on the parade, the climbs are amaizing and you guys are incredible climbers. Sometimes its hard to get all the rules since every gym is different, but just a heads up, evrything including volumes is color coded so you cant use volumes if its not your color, even if there's a hold attached to it
Everyone this is a good point, please check the rule about this. This kind of rule is usually on display where the grades are listed. I am used to climbing in base camp so I am used to not using volumes unless a hold of a problem is not it. I believe its valid here as it is in base camp, correct me if im wrong :)
p.s. I did not check the rule myself, silly me!
Also wanted to add for spray wall problems, its explicitly stated
@@lostinfailure No worries Im 100% sure, I work there 🤣 You can only use same color stuff, its hard to get used to but now if I go to another gym I never use shared volumes

Wasn't able to get a t-shirt this trip, so I guess I'll have to wait until next time 😭
I expect that the t-shirt will definitely change sometime as its a reprint of the same tee back in 2023. I am wondeing if the Ogikubo branch will have a new tee since as of this year, it is indepndently run by 8611 (Katsu and crew).
I wonder if the Yokohama branch as a tee...
