You can shoot the motion detector onto a teammate, and it will stick to them and still function, making it mobile. Same with vehicles, and maybe even objectives and weapons.
Problem is, the enemies also see the pulse of that threat sensor, effectively just painting a big, glowy target onto your teammates. So it may be a better idea to try and stick it onto an enemy spartan or vehicle, turning them into an unwilling spy.
Ya, if you do it on a team mate though, then they are giving off obvious moving pulses so the enemy will easily locate them as well, so remember this is a double edges sword and frankly rude move to use on most team mates. Though if he's got a grav hammer and overshield he might be ok with it in some cases.
You can actually use the Repulsor as a great tool in Stockpile. Once the seeds spawn in, use the Repulsor on them and you can push all of them towards your base at once.
i love it too though i do kinda wish they took out the Energy sword, Gravity Hammer, and Spnkr so that everyone wouldnt feel so compelled to fight with only those powerful weapons
Imagine someone killing an enemy around a corner with a threat sensor + shock rifle combo. Every time I turn around the equipments seem to have newer applications.
@@pollutedcrimson No, they cannot. If you are not sprinting, you are not visible with the flag. You can walk the flag back and not be on radar at all. In oddball you are always visible however.
I actually wanted to say for the grappleshot, using trees or light poles and looking at the object once you’ve grappled, you gain a lot more momentum than if you look away and drift back. You can change your movement speed on the grapple by pressing forward or backwards while grappling, so if you look towards the anchor point and press forward you actually gain a significant amount of speed. This has launched me across maps a lot.
Drop Wall is also effective for trapping enemies. Drop one behind an enemy. Then they can’t back away and you can melee them to death. Also works against hammers.
once forge is out, I’m looking forward to all the “things you didn’t know about” videos like zelda breath of the wild This was a solid video, I actually didn’t know about shooting the base of the drop wall or shooting equipment to static shock the area
this has gotta be one of the best advanced tricks list i've ever seen, i have 100 or so hours in the game and didn't already know a good portion of these, good job of demostrating what they are, how they work and not just being basic af type of stuff.
Honestly surprised the slide -> jump wasn’t mentioned. It’s a nice way of moving a bit faster in game as the momentum from the slide is then carried into the jump
The grapple tips are very nice. I didn't know about swinging around corners, now to go fulfill my Spartan Web Slinger dreams! Also, the repulsor has been one of my favorites to use lately, and the push to jump higher is something I'll definitely keep in mind because I had not tried that yet.
There should be no reason why this video has any dislikes! But I guarantee you its a mix of people who don’t like halo and or people who can’t replicate what they saw in game
To clarify you can shoot grenades that were dropped from an enemy that you killed, as well as grenades frompick up spawns. You will however need to do it with a precision weapon. (Br,sidearm, commando, etc)
Watched this earlier and can't remember if this was also mentioned but dropping your weapon is faster than swapping your weapon. In a tight situation when you run out of ammo in a mag and need a speedier but more risky swap, drop your current weapon instead.
This is exactly what I need in lieu of all the trouble with the Pass and Customization, the only one I really knew was the grapple because of my years with Titanfall and Apex, EMP shock, and Extra melee damage.
There is an interesting tricks you can do to give yourself a super slide anywhere there is a ledge. If you're standing on top of a ledge and Sprint off and hit slide before you touch the ground at the right timing you will get a fast slide that you could jump out of to maintain momentum. It's not anywhere as fast as the grapple slide but it's better than base speed
Shooting the dropshield base doesn’t really do much because you still have to focus your shot there instead of an enemy so your most likely still gonna get killed, but I guess you get rid of the shield for everyone else lol.
Nice tips! Just started playing and it is a lot of fun, now if they could just implement a proper battle pass leveling system that would be great..:D A simple win 100 xp would be a good start.
Man, there are a LOT of creative interactions I never even considered.
There is a few interactions 343 haven't considered either, beginning with the halo community
@@columlee6714
Cry some more why don’t you.
It’s clearly helping…
@@StealthyZombie weh
Wow.
An actual advanced trick list that is actually advanced, interesting and tricks that I did not know about.
Good job GameSpot.
They're stepping up their game or at least have someone scouting the net for new found stuff to share to a wider audience lol
Grappling down grav lifts is the biggest "outta here" you can do in halo
Gameranx did a great one as well
Thanks GameSport
Lets go Rin lets goooo

You can shoot it onto an enemy too
I’ve landed these on the enemy but it only stuck for a few seconds. Not sure if it’s possible to pull this off tho
@@jimi3314 I think I landed it on an enemy once by mistake and watched him run away tagging his teammates

You goated for that
wowwwwwww
not even sarcastic legit wow lol
Just don't stand in the center of them, lol
playing the fiesta event has allowed me learn a lot of the weapons and equipment, super fun
Same I’m really enjoying the game mode
It's gotta be why they made the playlist
i love it too though i do kinda wish they took out the Energy sword, Gravity Hammer, and Spnkr so that everyone wouldnt feel so compelled to fight with only those powerful weapons

I love how high the skill ceiling is for Infinite. It's gonna be crazy to see some pro matches
There were already some HCS matches being played with some great plays. More to come!
Imagine someone killing an enemy around a corner with a threat sensor + shock rifle combo. Every time I turn around the equipments seem to have newer applications.
skill ceiling isnt actually that high. its still more about legit teamwork and shooting straight
Also using camo before picking up the flag will camo the flag as well
Wait Really?
@@yoaiin4189 yes sir, if you don't sprint you're almost undetectable
I thought ppl can see u on radar always if you are holding the flag
@@chaikagaz they can.

No it doesn't trap them
Great vid! The Razorback can carry stockpile batteries and the flag! on the back. So solo players can do it if the team isn't :)
I can’t believe there is so much complexity that I didn’t even know about. Love it
I was expecting something trivial like "time your reloads". This is actually useful.
This was way more useful than I was expecting. Kudos.

shooting the base of the drop wall is one of the tips 343 shows on the menu when you're waiting to load but yeah not many people do it in game
@@FAYMprod you know gamers can’t read😂
@@tonito_el_tigre Dude, the threat sensor + disruptor trick blew me away.

Yeah I do it all the time I usually lap the whole map 2 to 3 times before everyone else
Not sure that would qualify as "advanced tricks you didn't know." That's a pretty standard mechanic for a lot of shooters.
Shock damage prevents enemy from using scope as long as the dot is ticking
Wow. There’s actually a good halo infinite video out there
The repulser / grenade combo was a sweeet bit of intel💪
these were exactly what I was looking for, my favorite was the repulsor tips and mangler 1 tap + melee.
3:39 "paired with good teamates, this can work well"
looks like I'm not gonna be good with that most of the time
Wow. Very impressed that these tips were genuinely advanced and the word wasn’t used just as clickbait. Great video :)
It seems pretty obvious, but a lot of people haven't realized: the disruptor is full-auto, too. Just because it's a pistol doesn't make it semi.
Yep, good call. I just discovered that a few days ago.
Hey rinharasaki awesome to see my favorite link as a Spartan! Please make more halo videos!!
Use repulsor to throw the flag in CTF matches. Jump, drop flag, and hit repulsor to throw the flag a good distance ahead of you.
Wow, wasn't expecting this video to be this helpful.
Some awesome clips here utilizing some big brain plays with the gadgets! Nice video my friend.
Thank you for these input of additional hints, and tips.🤓💡
Stay safe.🎯
Does the repulsor actually deflect rockets, a clip would have been nice to confirm that.
it does, there are clips online, you can reverse it back to the firer as well
Rockets, grenades, skewer, vehicles
Check out the yt channel SingleHaloClips. You'll find lots of creative gameplay highlights there.
The gravity hammer also does
Yeah, I did it and was surprised
Pretty sure EVERYONE missed that Disruptor perk. Shock rifle, too! Well done and thank you.
This is the greatest tips and tricks vid ever made

That's really cool, never thought you could do stuff like that.
Great vid very useful tips thank you ! Liked and followed !
I like how the only thing he has to say about utilizing the drop wall is that... you can destroy it even easier than once thought
That threat sensor disruptor trick is pretty nifty!
There should be no reason why this video has any dislikes! But I guarantee you its a mix of people who don’t like halo and or people who can’t replicate what they saw in game

wow, the disrupter info, repulsor into nade, and nading weapons was all great info for me
Amazing video gamespot!
Wasn’t expecting the tips to be this useful
good job gamespot.
now people know this game need "LEgit SKILLS"
Wow great video!
That was a good video, I'll have to watch that one twice
Wow this has been more helpful than 10 other videos I watched 😂😂
How did you get the disruptor to work in this video? Did they finally fix the bug?
You can shoot grenades to detonate them
No you can't. It just redirects them.
To clarify you can shoot grenades that were dropped from an enemy that you killed, as well as grenades frompick up spawns. You will however need to do it with a precision weapon. (Br,sidearm, commando, etc)

Great vid brother
Okay I'm an OG Halo player and I never knew about most of this especially the shock pistol stuff, now I'm gonna stop ignoring that gun!
What sensitivity yall use on m&k?
Knew about all but the pulse shooting sensor and the grapple doing down the lifts. That's pretty dope shizz!°
Thank you...I love this channel
Thanks for the tips!
Disruptor is way cooler than I thought. One thing I found out you can “pancake” enemies with the repulser if their shield is broken
This is exactly what I need in lieu of all the trouble with the Pass and Customization, the only one I really knew was the grapple because of my years with Titanfall and Apex, EMP shock, and Extra melee damage.
these are awesome, thank you so much!
Nice video. GameSpot is still so so much better then IGN
Here's a pro tip: Don't like grinding? You can buy XP boosts from the store (this tip is sponsored by Microsof)
You can also use the repulsor to flat juggle better
Awesome vid!
Definitely gonna try the trick with the threat sensor and shock rifle
Great video
Thanks for this content, very cool! Sharing with my squadmates
This was awesome. Thanks.
All great tricks!!!
The greandes on pads you can shoot them and they'll explode
You don't need to hold crouch after grappling/jumping to do the slide. You merely need to tap crouch button midair and he will slide when he lands.
Wow that’s suprisingly useful

anyone know if the needler does more damage on melee? I've always have wanted this to be a thing

This game is ridiculous, haven’t played since halo 2 but this is making me want to get an Xbox
I never would've found out about the disruptor sending electricity from conductive objects
You can use the grappler to navigate outside the boundaries of the map and make crazy flanks
Shooting the dropshield base doesn’t really do much because you still have to focus your shot there instead of an enemy so your most likely still gonna get killed, but I guess you get rid of the shield for everyone else lol.
I knew the Disruptor was good, but I didnt know it could arc off other metal surfaces!
Woah the disruptor is awesome
I have 1 thats probably well known already. Using the repulsor too move the whole stock pile at once
Very helpful, wow.
God job, I learned a thing or two ✌️

The flag spot on the back of the passenger warthog is OP asf
Nothing feels better than repulsor reflecting Wasp missles
