Ha thanks guys! Just on a quick note, 4:38 Mr Beal adds that they dye the sheaf, to give it it's retractable characteristic. Thank you for the cool factory tour

I love watching the jacket machine that weaves the outer plaiting.
    Could watch that for hours.
    Thank you for sharing.

7:05 maybe some belay gloves? I've never felt a need for them, but if this was part of my day job...

Fantastic, fascinating and very beautiful in a way! Very complex too. Our ropes are very near and dear to us tree climbers. Thank you for filming this and thank you Mr. Beal

I designed some T-shirts for Michel Beal back in the 80's, visited the factory during a French national holiday once, was a bit quieter in there then as the machinery was shut down :-) Cool video, thanks!

I work in the moving industry, and I can do the same thing with rolls of shrink wrap. You just get used to it.

That machine looks incredibly dangerous, what if she was pulled into it?

I don't find these videos of "How it's made" very interesting.
I'll just keep on waiting for content that I find interesting.
Still love your work though. Keep it up :)
