Hi Oli and Tacia- I enjoyed this and glad to see you both at the cabin again. It's so beautiful there. The cabin is looking great, and it is so cozy inside, you've both done a great job with it. I love blueberry picking, when we lived in Amish country, they had a few farms where you can pick apples, strawberries, blueberries and peaches but you guys have them in your own backyard which I love. I use mine to make smoothies and blueberry syrup for my yogurt and granola. I also want to start making my own cereal using freeze dried fruits and granola. Tacia, I hope your hand is feeling better, when you showed your finger and the blood I almost passed out as I hate to see blood, but you were a trooper. You guys were able to get a few potatoes and next year will be even better. Oli that pancake and mushrooms looked good. I agree with you both, I love the Fall as well, the colors of the trees and all the beauty that goes along with it. I hope you guys have a great week ahead and can't wait for the trip. She is right about potato seeds are the eyes a potato is alive even after harvest that’s why when you leave a potato out it will start to sprout remember a potato has very little solid and is mostly 82% starch and water the potato converts the starch into sugar as nutrients for the seed!
