I was doing my Daily Challenge (The challenge is about Immorticia's "Bag of Tricks" Deck vs "Atomic Bombegranate").Turn 9 i used "Summoning" and got "Cosmic Scientist".That "Cosmic Scientist" conjured "Zombot 1000"(with bullseye). Then the time when im gonna lose happened.Luckily its Turn 10 and i topdecked a "Teleport". Hoping for the enemy to not play "Dark Matter Dragonfruit"(if there was one in my opponent's deck).If i haven't Got that "Cosmic Scientist", Got a "Zombot 1000"and TopDecked a Teleport, i would've lost there. Then it happened. Zombie Tricks i played "Teleport" and "Zombot 1000". That was the luckiest thing that happened to me (in my entire playing of PvZ Heroes). Edit:I was an idiot, there's no Dragonfruit in Nightcap's Pineclone deck.

Tier list idea: the abilities. Not things like this does 3 damage to what kills it, but things like over shoot, bullseye, strikethrough, etc. Maybe even hunt.

Here’s my opinion on the strengths of each of the 10: classes Guardian: Beastly, pretty straightforward, can remove control pets fairly easily and shamrocket because, gargs. Kabloom: Crazy Since berry blast can remove many of its troubling card like binary stars, aerobic instructor, etc. With pineclone, it can prevent many crazy fieldclear cards and can fieldclear their small aggro cards too. Megagrow: Maybe Hearty?, no big removal. Hearty is really weak to plant food(Unless they have bonus track bucket head). Yeah, I’m not sure what else. Megagrow really doesn’t have a strength imo Smarty: Good against brainy because one it can prevent tricks with sportacus and brainana, plus brainy has a hard time dealing with bean swarm and freeze deck due to the lack of small removal and can deal with gravestone well since most science cards are gravestone Solar: Good against brainy too. Not only does it prevent trickster/ bonus attack, brainy class does poorly when dealing with strikethrough minion like bloomerang and power flower, Heals so it again, prevent trickster, has haunted pumpking to prevent drone engineer. Hammer also kills half of the brainy zombies Beastly: Great against smarty, counters beans with field clear cards, supernova/ extinction if there’s more than one, doesn’t rely as much on trick and smarty doesn’t have a good way of countering gargs and pet aside from bouncing Brainy: Brainy is great against Megagrow because, hard removal, leaps deck are viable against megagrow, Crazy: Great against smarty, Has amazing early game control like bungee to counter half of the smarty plants. Great way to counter bean swarm or cycle decks with fireworks and chickening. Smarty has no great way of dealing with aggro aside from splash damage cards. Hearty: Guardian, has a lot of small removal that removes 3/4 of the cards like Tricarrotop and pecanolith and it can also take advantage of pecanolith due to the fact of hearth cards have high health. Guardian heroes also don’t Fair well against sports deck Sneaky: Megagrow has no way to counter gravestone, can easily be removed by deadly minions, performs poorly against pirates and against Pogo Mug. And sneaky can control the megagrow class very well What do you think?
While rating based on control, you need to also take into account the value aspect of it. Control decks are useless if you can't generate enough resources.
You must do a deck based tier list. We know that you think that Valk trickser is your #1, but what's #2 in zombies. Same with plants, we know you think that Psycho Pineclones might be #1 but what's #2,3,4?
What about a tier list of nerfed card in their best unnerfed form? From least broken to most broken? And the tiers go to "was This really Op?" To "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING" or something like that instead of being "Trash to S tier" (And maybe also add a special bottom tier called "Kangaroo's Station" for YOU KNOW WHO)
Let me elaborate on what fry said about freeze decks: personally I run it with captain cucumber and bananasaurus. My 3 win conditions are captain cucumber, plant food (with snowdrop and bananasaurus), and winter squash. Getting 2 captain cucumbers is not a guaranteed advantage if they can remove them soon, and snowdrop and banasaur are weak to hard removal. So my only very consistent win condition is winter squash to control until late game. But if you don’t get any winter squashes, first of all, that’s an immediate massive disadvantage, and second, you need to get multiple freeze cards (do NOT run snow pea btw). At that point your set, but you could still have your winter squash removed or not draw what you need, but you have a pretty high chance to win. But getting a card with multiple other cards (all specific of course) isn’t as Common as you think. Freeze isn’t a good strategy unless you have alternate win conditions, so I don’t recommend playing any other hero than green shadow
Hot take: Hearty and Crazy should both be in C, Crazy high, Hearty low. Crazy has more incredibly good but also incredibly bad cards, hearty has many more decent to good and less crap cards (mostly the late game).
If they play Galacta cactus and you have nibble, you should wait a turn to get the healing unless you have a good turn 2 play. Yes bungee is better, but this makes it A tier imo.

That is using a deck with just only a class not two. For example: You play Cintron using a deck with 40 cards class Guardian and another deck with only Smarty Class
