Lovely edited travel vlog. I love when women travel alone, and don't wait for someone to go with them to enjoy the world! Look forward to your next trip
Awesome job. I have been traveling solo since I lost my wife two years ago. I am in Mexico, but my apartment lease is up here and I have my sights set on Chiang Mai. Thank you very much so courageous.😊
Hello! Congrats in your first solo trip! Your sunrise and sunset shots are lovely. 😊 Used to solo travel before too when i was younger. 😊 Lately though been traveling with my mom so she can see other places too. Btw, how did you go to Doi Inthanon? Did you join a tour or DIY? Also, have you seen elderly people going up Doi Suthep? Im preparing/planning for our trip to Chiang Mai/Rai this Nov. Thanks!
You know what I've been looking at this place, like the name as to what park is it! good thing I stumble into your vlog knowing it was the "chiang mai university" thank you for this. See you chiang mai end of the month
nice video.. brings back lots of good memories... i too went to chiang mai solo.. for 5 days.. best time in thailand ever! i stayed for the weekend and Sunday night market.. both nights at market were amazing.. full crowd of people, food, lovely smells and shops. plus lots of day trip options.. also went to Doi Sutep and did Elephant Sanctuary and TIger Kingdom. ill return to Chiang Mai
this is the address from google maps 13, 16 หมู่ 2 ซอย 11, San Klang, San Kamphaeng District, Chiang Mai 50130, Thailand it's about a 20mins car ride from the city and only opens on sat & sun 9am-2.30pm :)
I stayed at About A Bed Hostel in a 4 female dorm and I loved it! convenient, clean, and the host is very friendly. it's a pretty quiet hostel though - you can talk to people in the common area but it's not as happening as compared to party hostels. if you don't mind that, i will definitely recommend staying here :) have a safe trip!
I went in early Feb 2023. I could smell haze but it was still bearable. I've heard of the burning season from March so it's best to prepare masks if you are heading there during that period
I would say so! The people I encountered were very friendly. Nonetheless, it's still important to be careful and avoid doing things that makes you feel uncomfortable

Hello! Thanks for documenting your trip :) would you recommend the Doi Inthanon tour on Klook?
yes, definitely! unless you can ride the motorbike up which some people do, it can be quite troublesome to travel there by yourself :)
Wow so aesthetic 😍 So where to next? Haha
you'll be the first few to know when i decide where to go next :>
Hi! What is your main mode of transport between the places? Thanks for sharing your experience as a female solo traveler 😄
I used 'Grab' most of the time! took the songthaew and tuktuk too but only for short distances within Old City :)
Love the video! May I know where the chamcha market is located? Is it open everyday?
this is the address from google maps 13, 16 หมู่ 2 ซอย 11, San Klang, San Kamphaeng District, Chiang Mai 50130, Thailand
it's about a 20mins car ride from the city and only opens on sat & sun 9am-2.30pm :)
Love it!! How many days did you spend in Chiang Mai?
6 days :)
great video pal, any food recommendations in those 6 days?
try their khao soi!
Where did you stay and would you recommend it? I’m going on a solo trip there soon!

Hi i wanna ask regarding the minibus to go to Doi Suthep Temple. Do we really need to wait until 10 people to join the bus?
I think there were only 8 people in my bus going up, so not strictly 10. I waited perhaps around 15-20 mins
hi! did you go to jing jai market on a weekend or weekday? :)
I went on a weekend. I think it only opens on weekends, based on a few websites I read :)
Where is the Karen coffee center thing? How do you book it? I want to go.❤
It is part of the Doi Inthanon tour I booked through klook! You can search "Doi Inthanon National Park Day Tour".
what month did you visit? I heard march can be bad because of burning season
I went in early Feb 2023. I could smell haze but it was still bearable. I've heard of the burning season from March so it's best to prepare masks if you are heading there during that period
How was it? First solo trip to Chiang Mai too later this year 😬
Hope you had a fantastic first solo trip!
Hi, do you mind to share your detailed itinerary? Appreciate it
Hi, how did you book your tour?
via klook!
welcome, and away welcome if you come back.
How did you get around Chaing Mai?
mostly by Grab to places further away, and songthaew or walk if it's within Old City :)
Hi, may I know what editing software/app did you use? :)
I used Capcut to edit my videos :)
How about public transportation?? How do you move around?
i took the songthaew and tuktuk when i travelled around the city area, and used grab for further places :)
Did you book a tour?
I booked a day tour on Klook to visit doi inthanon national park. The rest were free and easy :)
planning my own solo trip too, which day tour did u specifically choose on klook? :)
www.klook.com/en-SG/activity/384-doi-inthanon-national-park-chiang-mai/?spm=BookingDetail.ActivityCard&clickId=5061aa6b5b
have fun!!
is it a safe country to travel solo?
I would say so! The people I encountered were very friendly. Nonetheless, it's still important to be careful and avoid doing things that makes you feel uncomfortable
how about temperatur?
the weather in feb ranges from high 10s in the mornings & evenings, and 30 degrees in the afternoons :)
