I see major problems here as a collision shop owner: As copied to my paint rep: Sadly it took her over 1 minute to load the machine, and it took over 4 minutes to mix that one batch of paint without reducers, hardeners, or anything else, plus you still have to do clearcoat etc, etc, etc and make a mess, we also still do a fair bit of tinting, you then going to unscrew the toner and put a lit on it to drop a few drops in to tint on the fly, or will you load the machine again and have it auto dispense again? Also scroll over to 2:02 in the video and see how much paint splatter is all over the bottom of this thing, someone has to clean the little hole that it comes out of, more maintenance, where as now just throw the pour spout out and put a new one on in about 5 seconds. This machine works in the lab, but they missed the mark for the trade world on this one! Once they make a machine that does the whole thing, clear coat, hardener, mixing and takes the human element out of it completely, I’ll be sold, I’m all about automation here, humans make mistakes, grab wrong toner etc, and then they’ll blame moonwalk for mixing it wrong, heck they blame the chips if they grab the wrong toner as it is!
I don't know which overlords are watching this comment section, but I think I can safely say that every week I have to use this machine for mixing paint. This is ONLY for Envirobase basecoat and tricoat formulas. They do not add reducer. So no undercoats or topcoats will ever get mixed on this machine. This machine also (with my setup) can not mix custom formulas or adjusted formulas, so those are out of the question. The only toner that can get mixed are the ones on the mixing line, so you must load the corresponding toners to the formula for every mix. The machine definitely pours much slower than humans pour. And if the machine runs out of a toner, the replacement process takes about 3x the time when compared to simply replacing a old school pouring lid.
Nice looking system. It would be great to be able to set the toners up push start and walk away let the computer do its thing, then comeback ready to do a spray out card

Well the toners are off wonder if that will effect the paint color 🤔
