I feel this game is okay, but I've been playing on BGA and I'm curious how the bookkeeping of cascading bonuses feels when the computer isn't doing it for you.
We love Verb & Writes with a more unique theme. As much as they can have anyways. This really caught our attention so we went ahead and got a copy. Have to say it is pretty darn good. I will say you gotta definitely pay attention to your opponents boards so you don't get caught off guard when they fill out their band section and you got 3 to go.
The art is so funny to me. It feels like the artist was given the prompt to draw musicians and had never seen what real musicians look like except through the lens of watching MTV one time 20 years ago. Fun game, fun theme, goofy art.
The circular "linen finish" is a nice detail, however at that point it is no longer linen finish :D The circular finish one might call a gramophone finish, which is common on mechanical pipe connections. Thanks for a well put together review.
We need a good game about a touring/ recording rock band. There have been a few generic games with a band images pasted on it, but did not really stick to the theme. Trollfest is the best I've found but it really needs 5 players to make it work.
Given the X and Write mechanics, I imagine he backed out of the room without breaking eye contact. I thought he said he was tired of X and Write games?

Been enjoying this one on BGA!
This is a great game. Feels like a lighter version of games like Three Sisters and Fleet Dice.
Can’t wait to play!
I really enjoy this game both in person and on BGA.
🔥A really cool game designed by a really cool guy.
Great game, been playing it a lot since the KS arrived
It’s great putting a band together.
Given topic, I was expecting Chris Yi to be on review…..

@@JustJoeBlogs I thought given the music theme he would have reviewed…the theme is extremely rare and Chris is an audiophile
So, that's how most music is written nowadays? No wonder music today sounds the way it does :P
Camilla sold it to me :)
