You guys won't believe this! I have been listening to Yasir Qadhi for many months but the clips that are in this video, I'm seeing them for the first time. Can you believe how Allāh SWT protected me from doubts and misguidance? If you're reading this then say Alhamdulillāh now!
And also sitting with Ahlul Biddah, this man admits he visited the likes of Salman Al Oudah who is a deviant, and said it was forbidden to visit him yet I snuck out. This man AFAIR said that this planted a seed in him. Do not let this man drive you away from gaining ilm. His doubts honestly raised suspicion, i have no idea why he doesn't just tell us his doubts, i promise he could give a 4 hour video and by tomorrow a hundred of videos would be made refuting. He says it himself, in my opinion it is a problem with his tauhid because every single problem you have in islam is linked even if it is ever so slightly to tauhid, strengthen that and allhamdulillah you have succeeded. He says he doesn't understand how we dont know where yajuj and majuj are, this is literally a miracle from allah so any doubt he has would be a doubt either with the hadith or his faith in allah

Wallahi his old lectures made me love our prophet even more, because I never had understood seerah better before. And now, what has happened to him is absolutely tragic. This video is the living proof of the fact that anyone can go astray any moment. We should always ask Allah to keep us stead fast on our deen in every prayer. One thing I have noticed is, many learned lecturers that I loved to listen are now changing day by day. They are getting influenced by western life style and philosophy. Many people are being barred from understanding islam the way salafs understood, all because of the western society. SubhanAllah. This is a clear warning for us. We should always try our best to avoid any society that may lead to fitna. We need to surround ourselves with people of pure understanding of islam. I remember reading a hadith. If someone can remind me the reference it would be really helpful alhamdulillah. I read Something like that Rasulullah sallallahu alaihiwasallam said we should always keep ourselves away from fitna, for if someone even goes close to it, the fitna will consume him. And specially a time that is closest to the time of dajjal, along with being very careful we must always beg Allah to help us stick to the right way. I just pray that may Allah return Yasir Qadhi to the right path.
I used to watch those lectures of Seerah but out of everything i watched What stuck with me most is yasir qadhi’s statement that the seerah books got thicker and thicker as time passed since the prophet’s death. He said “it makes you wonder. Masha allah, where t are hey getting all these details from?” I became so concerned with that that i lost all confidence in every islamic book. If somebody quoted sahih Bukhari I would think “That book was compiled 250 years after the prophet” and if somebody quoted the seerah of ibn Ishaq I would think “Ibn ishaq was accused of writing jewish tales by Imam Malik” I could not trust or believe anything because i drowned in a jumble of concerns about the time of writing, decontextualised jahr wal ta’deel and I had no consistency of mind and ended up rejecting all Hadiths altogether until i studied Hadith properly, and very few things impacted me as much as studying hadith. I finally had a method of differentiating reliable from unreliable. sorry for that random rant lol

The issue with him began a long time ago but gradually worsened until it gained significant momentum, particularly around 2020 or 2021, or perhaps even a few years before that. I have several of his books-around five-that he authored very early, back when he was in Madinah and not long after graduating. In those books, you can clearly see that he refuted many of the things he is now advocating, similar to what is shown in this video. It’s truly unfortunate. Even in his Seerah videos, there are numerous problematic statements. The issue is that these statements are often very subtle, making it difficult for someone without deep understanding or discernment-whether an average person or even a student of knowledge-to recognize them. For this reason, it is best to avoid Dr. YQ altogether, akhi. There are many other speakers who call to the Qur'an and Sunnah, as well as many scholars who are well-grounded and teach the pure message brought by the Prophet (peace be upon him) without sugarcoating it or altering it to suit whims and desires.
Many traverse the path of truth but only a few remain steadfast upon it. I ask Allah to keep our hearts firm upon the straight path and let our hearts not have hatred for the true believer. Ameen. جزاكم الله خيرا
This is why the principle of following the dead is a thing. It means you follow the scholars of the past who have passed away, because they can't be overtaken by fitnah like a living scholar could.

Allah guides whoever he wills through whatever source or means he wills but it is OUR duty to keep on looking for the true knowledge as we beg Allah 5 times a day in surah Al Fatiah "guide us on the straight path"

@Abdul Aziz First off, the Father is absolutely _not_ an "old man with a beard." If you knew anything about the Bible, the Father beyond compare to any human. If we agree God is perfect and infinitely great, He must exist in a infinite dimensional space. Let's call that state "The Father." If God is only the Father, it is physically impossible for us to interact with Him. We are 3 dimensional, a subset of the infinite dimensional world. So if God ever appears in our world, He is projecting Himself into a different state (like a human projecting their decisions into a video game avatar). If you believe in a spiritual world that's tangential to our own, the same logic would apply. God can't just vanish into a 3 dimensional or spiritual space. In that case, He would be limiting Himself and He would no longer be infinitely great. The only way for this to logically work is if God projects His being into different states that can act within different worlds.

Also in Matthew Jesus is Talking to the Jewish leaders, and before the verse you quoted Jesus tells the parable of the tenants, and says the kingdom of God is going to be taken away from the Jewish leaders and given to others who are fruitful. And where in Hebrews does it say that Ismael was blessed? Where are you getting information from?
The post-Yale Qadhi has two choices: either the western scholars are right and "there are holes in the narrative" (his words) or the eastern scholars are right and Qur'anic preservation is without problem. It seems to me that if he chooces both he is living a double life.

Creating some truths and mixing it with doubts and than coming to a middle ground is the method I noticed being used. He went to the great wall of china to prove it wasn't holding back yajuj and majuj, then said he cannot believe they are existing today. Some people who left the deen said Islam has flaws because he raised contradictions and states problematic texts and medieval scholars. The 3 best generations are supposed to be our guidance but now he openly invents new bidah.

The shortest one being 3 Ayat (or sentences) long]. That's exactly what the Quran has done here in the second chapter of the book: Quran 2:23 "And if you are in doubt about what We have revealed to Our servant, [Muhammad] then produce a surah [Chapter] like it and call your helpers other than Allah, if what you say is true." Quran 2:24 "But if you are unable to do so-and you will never be able to do so-then fear the Fire fuelled with people and stones, which is prepared for the disbelievers." The amazing thing is that no one has ever been able to do it. People were paid money to do this, but they couldn't. And Muhammad, peace be upon him, could neither read or write. And Arabs at the time didn't have knowledge of the Bible (Torah and Gospel, I mean). Lots of evidence for this. If a person would ask a question, a part of the Quran would be revealed with an answer. And this wasn't revealed in one go. It was revealed over a period of 23 years (so it took 23 years for us to get the whole Quran). Despite this, the Quran doesn't have a single mistake or a single contradiction. If you can find even one, I can easily give you a simple explanation for it, MashaAllah. The Quran has not been changed. It's preserved in its original Arabic. It was revealed over 1400 years ago. This is actually also mentioned in the Quran. That it will be preserved, without any change: Quran 15:9 "It is certainly We Who have revealed the Reminder, and it is certainly We Who will preserve it." 'The Reminder' is another name of the Quran. You know how English has been changing? A book we read from 400 years ago will use different words than what we do now. Well, the Arabic in the Quran was so amazing that that's the Arabic they use now (the Arabic from the Quran). If people (Muslims or non-Muslims) studying Arabic at university want to know a rule for the language, you know which book they refer to? The Quran. This is an amazing book. It has 604 pages. There are millions of people who have it memorized word for word. And this is also something mentioned in the Quran: Quran 54:17 "And We have certainly made the Quran easy to remember. So is there anyone who will be mindful?" This is an amazing book.

In my einsteinian opinion is what he thinks... when he follows sufism which teaches not to think and be zombies, no wonder he though yajuj and majuj were zombies, he thought they were sufis!
Whn i started to practice my deen i watched some of his lectures nd i find vry beneficial nd were vry emotional but by the time passes idk y when ever i hear his voice its give me a weird feeling i try to watch but its always gave me a weird feeling i mean like i used to watch his lectures it ws kinda addict but i ws not hving that fun by learning frm him nd now Subhan Allah! But the poem itself is called the “Laamiyyah” (لاميّة), attributed to Ibn Taymiyyah rahimahullah. The scholars differed whether he authored it or not.

True Islamic knowledge settles in the heart and humbles people hence true Islamic scholars speak in a slow dignified manner, not shouting all over the place l Iike this man. Hopefully YQ can overcome this fitnah/test and see that this is shaitan's desperate attempt to confuse him and shake up his iman. Look, I'm not a follower of YQ, but *all* of us should be constantly striving to improve our selves, our worship, our understanding, etc. These clips show a man at different times of his life, and, Inshallah, he's constantly striving to improve his understandings. Who here hasn't changed in the last ten years? If you have not changed your opinion on anything, either you started out perfect, or are sadly stuck in need of correction.
I'm very sure yasir qadhi started out knowing nothing. But he studied and gained knowledge that set him on the right path. What this video shows, is that he eventually deviated in many matters of the religion. As you age, you should only increase in your knowledge. If you deviate and decrease in your knowledge, you're doing something wrong. This is also someone who has a lot of listeners. Someone who has that many people looking up to him, carries a huge burden in conveying the truth. Saying that christmas is not haram, which it obviously is, is not something to be taken lightly. Everyone who now listens to that statement with not a lot of knowledge on islam will now take that statement as fact. May allah guide us and yasir qadhi back to the right understanding of islam.

Living in the west is no excuse for not understanding and preserving the religion as it was revealed and meant to be comprehended. He allowed his shubuhat to take over instead of allowing Allah to keep him strong upon truth. This man is no Ahmad Ibn Hanbal nor is he an Abu Hanifa. It takes a certain level of bravery to be humble to the religious rulings established for centuries instead of prioritising your own limited, human intellect. But personally growing throughout the 2000 decade, and as soon as I arrived at the end of it, I’ve noticed with these lecturers became more and more soft with non muslims like journalists, professors, and some tv personalities. That’s when I knew something was wrong. Instead of defending his traditional upbringing, he began to adapt to western culture thinking he will stay the same nonetheless. Oh how he and others were wrong.
May Allah reward you for your dawah. We are in real need for the dawah that represents the way the salaf understood the deen. Especially for layman like me who don't know Arabic. The problem with most people following these type of public speakers is that they develop an emotional attachment to such a huge extent that when you point out their absolutely destructive flaws, their followers get angry. SubhanAllah, what is more valuable to you? The correct understanding of the deen, or defending someone who is clearly going against the basic teachings of Islam. This is somewhat similar to blind followers of madhabs. They are not willing to accept the truth, no matter what. May Allah guide us to the straight path. I have sheikhs that I love. But this love shouldn't make me blind to the point that if he is going against the Qur'an and sunnah, that I'd still stand by his side. Before people of deviant understanding was very visible and easily noticeable. But now its sad to see how people propagate misguidance by portraying themselves as followers of ahlul sunnah. They also quote scholars of correct understanding to propagate their misguidance by cherry picking stuff and quoting opinions that are less closer to the sunnah. subhanAllah, how subtle is their approach in propagating misguidance. May Allah guide me and Him. I would like to thank you again brother for your work. Keep on doing what your doing; just wanted to share a few thoughts from a layman's perspective.

Wallahi his old lectures made me love our prophet even more, because I never had understood seerah better before. And now, what has happened to him is absolutely tragic. This video is the living proof of the fact that anyone can go astray any moment. We should always ask Allah to keep us stead fast on our deen in every prayer. One thing I have noticed is, many learned lecturers that I loved to listen are now changing day by day. They are getting influenced by western life style and philosophy. Many people are being barred from understanding islam the way salafs understood, all because of the western society. SubhanAllah. This is a clear warning for us. We should always try our best to avoid any society that may lead to fitna. We need to surround ourselves with people of pure understanding of islam. I remember reading a hadith. If someone can remind me the reference it would be really helpful alhamdulillah. I read Something like that Rasulullah sallallahu alaihiwasallam said we should always keep ourselves away from fitna, for if someone even goes close to it, the fitna will consume him. And specially a time that is closest to the time of dajjal, along with being very careful we must always beg Allah to help us stick to the right way. I just pray that may Allah return Yasir Qadhi to the right path.
I used to watch those lectures of Seerah but out of everything i watched
What stuck with me most is yasir qadhi’s statement that the seerah books got thicker and thicker as time passed since the prophet’s death. He said “it makes you wonder. Masha allah, where t are hey getting all these details from?”
I became so concerned with that that i lost all confidence in every islamic book. If somebody quoted sahih Bukhari I would think
“That book was compiled 250 years after the prophet” and if somebody quoted the seerah of ibn Ishaq

I could not trust or believe anything because i drowned in a jumble of concerns about the time of writing, decontextualised jahr wal ta’deel and

@@Abdd17It is better to avoid him altogether. Many people cannot distinguish between truth and misguidance in such cases. The issue with him began a long time ago but gradually worsened until it gained significant momentum, particularly around 2020 or 2021, or perhaps even a few years before that.
I have several of his books-around five-that he authored very early, back when he was in Madinah and not long after graduating. In those books, you can clearly see that he refuted many of the things he is now advocating, similar to what is shown in this video. It’s truly unfortunate. Even in his Seerah videos, there are numerous problematic statements. The issue is that these statements are often very subtle, making it difficult for someone without deep understanding or discernment-whether an average person or even a student of knowledge-to recognize them.
For this reason, it is best to avoid Dr. YQ altogether, akhi. There are many other speakers who call to the Qur'an and Sunnah, as well as many scholars who are well-grounded and teach the pure message brought by the Prophet (peace be upon him) without sugarcoating it or altering it to suit whims and desires.
Many traverse the path of truth but only a few remain steadfast upon it. I ask Allah to keep our hearts firm upon the straight path and let our hearts not have hatred for the true believer. Ameen. جزاكم الله خيرا

@Abdul Aziz First off, the Father is absolutely _not_ an "old man with a beard." If you knew anything about the Bible, the Father beyond compare to any human. If we agree God is perfect and infinitely great, He must exist in a infinite dimensional space. Let's call that state "The Father." If God is only the Father, it is physically impossible for us to interact with Him. We are 3 dimensional, a subset of the infinite dimensional world. So if God ever appears in our world, He is projecting Himself into a different state (like a human projecting their decisions into a video game avatar). If you believe in a spiritual world that's tangential to our own, the same logic would apply. God can't just vanish into a 3 dimensional or spiritual space. In that case, He would be limiting Himself and He would no longer be infinitely great. The only way for this to logically work is if God projects His being into different states that can act within different worlds.

The amazing thing is that no one has ever been able to do it.
People were paid money to do this, but they couldn't.
And Muhammad, peace be upon him, could neither read or write.
And Arabs at the time didn't have knowledge of the Bible (Torah and Gospel, I mean). Lots of evidence for this.
If a person would ask a question, a part of the Quran would be revealed with an answer.
And this wasn't revealed in one go. It was revealed over a period of 23 years (so it took 23 years for us to get the whole Quran).
Despite this, the Quran doesn't have a single mistake or a single contradiction. If you can find even one, I can easily give you a simple explanation for it, MashaAllah.
The Quran has not been changed. It's preserved in its original Arabic.
It was revealed over 1400 years ago.
This is actually also mentioned in the Quran. That it will be preserved, without any change:
Quran 15:9
"It is certainly We Who have revealed the Reminder, and it is certainly We Who will preserve it."
'The Reminder' is another name of the Quran.
You know how English has been changing? A book we read from 400 years ago will use different words than what we do now.
Well, the Arabic in the Quran was so amazing that that's the Arabic they use now (the Arabic from the Quran).
If people (Muslims or non-Muslims) studying Arabic at university want to know a rule for the language, you know which book they refer to? The Quran.
This is an amazing book.
It has 604 pages. There are millions of people who have it memorized word for word.

"And We have certainly made the Quran easy to remember. So is there anyone who will be mindful?"

I'm very sure yasir qadhi started out knowing nothing. But he studied and gained knowledge that set him on the right path. What this video shows, is that he eventually deviated in many matters of the religion. As you age, you should only increase in your knowledge. If you deviate and decrease in your knowledge, you're doing something wrong.
This is also someone who has a lot of listeners. Someone who has that many people looking up to him, carries a huge burden in conveying the truth. Saying that christmas is not haram, which it obviously is, is not something to be taken lightly. Everyone who now listens to that statement with not a lot of knowledge on islam will now take that statement as fact.

TH-cam or fitnatube is the cause of all this. People like yasir qadi should stay away from it. But personally growing throughout the 2000 decade, and as soon as I arrived at the end of it, I’ve noticed with these lecturers became more and more soft with non muslims like journalists, professors, and some tv personalities. That’s when I knew something was wrong. Instead of defending his traditional upbringing, he began to adapt to western culture thinking he will stay the same nonetheless. Oh how he and others were wrong.
Nah he should've stood away from the universities, he clearly couldnt handle it.

He doesn't. He denies the most prevelant interpretation and instead accepts an alternative one.
Seems like he switches and contradicts depending on the audience, the institute and the platform he's speaking on.
May Allah reward you for your dawah. We are in real need for the dawah that represents the way the salaf understood the deen. Especially for layman like me who don't know Arabic. The problem with most people following these type of public speakers is that they develop an emotional attachment to such a huge extent that when you point out their absolutely destructive flaws, their followers get angry. SubhanAllah, what is more valuable to you? The correct understanding of the deen, or defending someone who is clearly going against the basic teachings of Islam. This is somewhat similar to blind followers of madhabs. They are not willing to accept the truth, no matter what. May Allah guide us to the straight path. I have sheikhs that I love. But this love shouldn't make me blind to the point that if he is going against the Qur'an and sunnah, that I'd still stand by his side.
Before people of deviant understanding was very visible and easily noticeable. But now its sad to see how people propagate misguidance by portraying themselves as followers of ahlul sunnah. They also quote scholars of correct understanding to propagate their misguidance by cherry picking stuff and quoting opinions that are less closer to the sunnah. subhanAllah, how subtle is their approach in propagating misguidance. May Allah guide me and Him. I would like to thank you again brother for your work. Keep on doing what your doing; just wanted to share a few thoughts from a layman's perspective.
