Yes exactly, you nailed it. Ranbir was trying very hard to normalize things & joking around & kept looking at her & gauging her reaction. But the hurt in Katrina was so raw & so real that she couldn't look at him or hide her emotions & even speak at some points, where it looked like she was literally trying not to cry. I felt really bad for her watching this, but glad to see that she finally found her peace & happiness with Vicky.
