If the truck up front would’ve simply not gotten into the left lane until those few cars passed then the Mustang would’ve been able to drive the way God intended. Fast 💨
Yes, the driver of the Mustang WAS an idiot, but... The thing most people are missing is the fact that all those cars/trucks are passing the truck with the camera. He is going the speed limit, so all those other people ARE breaking the law. Not as bad and the driver of the Mustang. But, breaking the law none the less. If the speed limit was 100 mph some people would still have to drive 105 or 110.
Alot of people speed so get off your high horse. The semi in the left lane is dangerous. You're paid by the mile or hour so stop trying to pass its your **job** to drive safe regardless what other people are doing.

He's probably driving a company truck that is governed and is doing all he can. Most O\O trucks are turned up.. so us company trucks have to pass slower traffic which takes longer. ps. He's not camping, just slowly passing. Welcome to our life.
Nope trucker has the full right to overtake in the left lane. You should just relax and wait for him to get to a safe point to get back in the right lane. Unless you're in such a hurry like that impatient mustang.
To the people complaining about the trucker in the left lane, you need to address your lawmakers for that. Make it illegal to govern truck speeds to anything less than the max speed limit in the country, which right now I think is 75. Also forcing companies to pay drivers by the hour not by the mile would have a big impact. Pay by the mile causes drivers to never want to slow down for anything. So if they are governed at 67 for example and they come up on someone doing 65, they will pass no matter how long it takes. Pay them by the hour and that all goes away. So does tailgating, speeding, and driving longer hours than you should. Pay by the hour fixes so many problems. Crazy how no one thinks about that and what they do instead is increase punishments and HOS regulations. None of that will work I never realized how much of a difference it would make until I got the job I have now. I'm driving a semi but paid by the hour. I put in 14 hrs a day and anything over 8hrs is time and a half. It's great. I never feel like speeding, tailgating, or driving over my hours. I was shocked how much of a difference it made in my life. Mental stress, gone, pay, increased. It's a win win.
And. So, what if you have a loved one that is dying in a car crash your house in on fire and your kids are trapped in the house or dying in a hospital. Wouldn't you want people to get out of the left lane so you can pass so you can get to where you need to get to? Where I live all the slow people drive in the left lane and backs the traffic up and slows everything down. Some people need to get pass. My mom died in a hospital before I got there because everyone was going slow in the left passing lane. It's not called a fast lane it's called a passing lane. So, I missed my chance to see her, so she died all alone.

Its the truckers fault for hanging out there in the left lane more then a mile. I bet that trucker also is a huge tailgater. Guy in the Stang just got tired and did what he had to. He might have been heading to the hospital. Stop judging people. Ones you should judge are tailgaters. The ones that are trying to kill someone from behind.
The trucker was going the speed limit. You’re saying he’s wrong because he didn’t let the mustang break 1 law, so than he broke 2 laws. Reckless driving and speeding. Speeding in a 70 mph hwy and reckless driving in a shoulder is enough to get your license suspended. Yet the trucker minding his own business is at fault?
@joemellon7182 prove it then. Because I bet you that trucker was governor 62 or 65 in a 70 or 80 mph highway. So if you weren't stop being a troll. Because you can't tell if he was at a speed limit. 80% of semi trucks are governor 65 or below. So give me proof. Oh and liking your own comments is hilarious. 🤣🤣.
@@lincolnls0416 certainly, I would like to address your points in a comprehensive manner. Firstly, regarding the speed of the trucker, it is important to note that in the video, the trucker was shown driving at or around the speed limit of 70 mph on a 70 mph highway. While it is true that some semi-trucks are governed at lower speeds, it is not fair to assume that all trucks operate under such limitations. In fact, as someone who personally drives rigs, I can attest that not all trucks are governed at 62 or 65 mph. In my experience, I have driven trucks that were governed at 85 mph and even a dump truck governed at 82 mph, as highways often allow speeds of up to 70 mph. Now, let's focus on the reckless behavior displayed by the Mustang driver. It is evident from the video that the Mustang was driving recklessly, dangerously tailgating the trucker and swerving around other traffic. Reckless driving poses a significant threat to public safety, as it increases the likelihood of accidents and endangers the lives of other road users. The Mustang driver's impatience and frustration with not being able to pass the 18-wheeler do not justify such reckless actions. Moreover, the Mustang driver's decision to swerve off into the shoulder of the highway to pass the truck is highly dangerous and completely unjustifiable. The shoulder of a highway is not intended for regular travel and should only be used for emergencies or authorized vehicles. By utilizing the shoulder to overtake the truck, the Mustang driver not only violated traffic regulations but also put themselves and other motorists at risk of a severe accident. While it is important to address any potential wrongdoing, it is crucial to consider the context of the situation. In this case, the trucker was abiding by the speed limit and driving in the appropriate lane. The actions of the Mustang driver, on the other hand, clearly demonstrated recklessness and disregard for the safety of others on the road. In conclusion, it is evident that the trucker in the dashcam video was not at fault for the dangerous situation that unfolded. The Mustang driver's reckless behavior, including tailgating, swerving, and utilizing the shoulder to overtake, clearly violated traffic laws and put themselves and others in harm's way. It is imperative that we promote responsible and respectful driving practices to ensure the safety of all road users.
@joemellon7182 your an idiot just because a speed limit says 1 thing it is 100% not correct. My semi truck says 70 also. But it won't do 70. GPS it shows 67 not 70. So until you get some education then we could talk. Until your a troll with lack of education. Semi truck driver was driving recklessly. If you know it takes 15 miles to pass don't pass. Called common sense. Something you don't have. Last thing that Mustang driver was heading to the hospital so he did what he could to get there for his kid. So enjoy troll and keep showing your lack of education.

Well said with WIDE OPEN eyes and thoughts.
Alot of people speed so get off your high horse. The semi in the left lane is dangerous. You're paid by the mile or hour so stop trying to pass its your **job** to drive safe regardless what other people are doing.
You have NO Clue. You need to ride or drive a truck to learn or understand. Most of the time its the a-hole truck driver or 4-wheeler in the right lane that traps the speed regulated truck in the left lane. Their way of having fun. Kinda like YOU break checking a truck for going to slow. I'd like to see you drive your car governed at 64 mph. Think about it.
The real problem is the idiot truck driver camping in the left lane.
None of that will work
I never realized how much of a difference it would make until I got the job I have now.
Não é certo caminhoneiro ficar na pista esquerda segurando o trânsito !!
Get out of the left lane. The left lane is for passing only pass then move back over to the right lane. Don't be a left lane hog.
Really? That only applies if there is a sign saying that. Hwy 31 by my house would be impassable going by your standards. All lanes get used.
@@Dannysoutherner No sine needed and speed has nothing to do with it. Don't block the left lane. It's the law.
It must be horrifying if you're already driving at the speed limit and multiple vehicles are still overtaking you .
Haha.. Not really.. I'm making money and have the support from the company and I'm making money while they're spending there's.
It happens all the time everywhere.
I feel sorry for the truck driver who has to chase that dogs butt down the road all day.
I don't.. Many better things to look at during my day. ps. I don't feed him so his backside is always clean.
@@OFFGRID_Trucker When I drove a Mack our daughter loved that little doggie. When I'd come home she liked looking at him and saying how cute he was LOL
Hes a mustang hater never knew so many existed till I bought one nice ass cars.
Why is the front trucker blocking the passing lane? I realize the Mustang driver is wrong for passing on the right but he probably would not have done that if the passing lane was not being blocked by an inconsiderate trucker!
Just more rude mannerless left lane freedom obstructers as usual what do u expect ?
@user-tw5ib6om8s lol.. The truck WAS passing.. just slower than anyone kiked. It takes a couple of miles for me to pass sometimes. Just be patient. Ps. Lower your expectations and you'll live a happier life.
Awesome move
I drive a two lane daily and deal with truckers running side by side for miles, it's aggravating. Then when someone has enough and passes on the shoulder or uses a turning lane, suddenly they are wrong!
Now that was boring.
Well.. I'm happy you were bored. Thanx for the comment.
Doesn't the title describe... every Mustang driver.

@@OFFGRID_Trucker I'm aware there was one in the video but I'm also a stang owner and the hate is ridiculous. Nothing wrong was done here besides people driving too slow in the wrong lane.
@@coldblooded7510 I kinda thought you are an owner.. quick story here. I once commuted from Marysville, CA to the Roseville area on my '99 Yamaha VMAX. 1200 cc's of V4 muscle power. They're legendary for their power. 145hp. Not alot of top end speed but almost untouchable from stoplight to stoplight. The Ford Cobra 426 could almost stay right beside it, in town and no other bike in stock form could. So I'm commuting down Hwy 65 about the same time each morning. Eventually I caught up to a Buell (also a 1200). so he begins to follow and even got a little brave as well.. then we'd almost take turns passing almost everything.. triple digits came up fast. Then we got the attention of a GT. Well.. he was wanting to play too.. DAMN..! and this was10 to 13 years ago. They're faster now. I don't think it was stock under the hood but it was quiet. He was almost hard to catch. None of ever were seen by the CHP. 1 car chasing 3 vehicles.. not good odds. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
@@OFFGRID_Trucker definitely nice cars and they go cheap 8 grand for a low mileage v8 is a good deal of fun.
@@coldblooded7510 I used to work for a automotive detail shop. They had account for the CHP in Cali.. Well.. they had to be shuttled to our detail shop and I got to drive one of them stripped GT's. We were being watched, so we couldn't play too much. But the one I drove wasn't completely worn out. It was fun.
Nothing to see here
There's plenty to see happening.. maybe look again..
Stop making cars that can exceed the speed limit. Install a device that makes the car explode if over the speed limit. Neutralize these hard-ons.
Lot of comments here putting the blame on the truck ahead who is passing slower traffic. Like it or not, he’s not doing anything wrong, just hold your water for 60 seconds and he’ll get out of the way. The dingbat in the mustang is doing something seriously stupid and illegal. Those shoulders aren’t always maintained as well as the roadway. You fly down that side at 80, and there happens to be a pothole, it might be the last mistake you make. Never mind the possibility that a broken down car could be sitting up ahead.
