Oh, 80% of cat products are gimmicks. This is a legit idea but in execution if you actually built the device to the tolerances needed for the self-grooming feature to work the cats wouldn't want to crawl through the hole. The cat would have to go through the tunnel 50x a day to get any real grooming from the device 😂 I'd say put the device on a cat box and it would be cool. Knock off the big stuff and have the scratchy pad to absorb litter caught in the paws
It was great to see how much they enjoyed it, but it did not look like it got very much fur off of them. Too bad. A brush or comb is still the best option no matter how time consuming. Your kitties are so very beautiful.
Cats are just so curious. Anything new becomes of top most interest. I'm thinking that the opening is combing them as they go in and out. Probably feels good. Love the cat who kept reaching out through the hole in the side. Have fun. 😻😁😻

I think it will take a lot of the loose hair off. But the unter growed hair after winter needs a real good brushing several times . This cats really like going true this box so it's a good thing to help eliminate somewhat hair balls in the stomach to a point. So it's worth having.

It helps me keep track of any issues he may have, and he likes to be brushed, so there’s the warm human touch that I think is so necessary.
Would look purrfect next to the Robo litter box, and it's only $99. One less chore for me to do with my cats, now if they'd invent a automatic cat nail trimmer that holds the cat in place and trims the claws so I don't have to!

Very cool invention! I can totally see that it would help in controlling the daily loose hairs in between brushings. Anything that helps mom & dad out with the household maintenance is a win-win!

The ginger kitty really stands out, his color is so saturated and he’s marked properly (meaning most gingers I see are mixed breeds since they are strays and rarely marked as they should be). Is the tortoiseshell cat also a Maine Coon? It was kinda hard for me to tell with them always moving around and in and out of the box.

I worry that this gadget would miss the cat’s front leg “armpits” and groin where my Maine Coon mix gets most of her matted areas….
Might do some good on a shorthaired critter but on all of that gorgeous floof--forget it.
