Major props kid. I have three, a square 1960 Cavalier 64, a 1958 Vendo 81, and a 1957 VMC 110. The 81 sits in my great room, great conversation piece. Good luck

I have this exact same model and I belive it's from 1972 from what I researched using the tag on the side of the machine.

Thanks for the info! When I looked up 1980’s coke machine this came up on google so I just assumed.

I just bought the same machine but its missing the coin changer. Is there any chance you could read a model number off of the one on yours?

Coke is sold in glass bottles still, though not very much.

I got a small all mechanic one from 1997 no wiring at all it has sold out lights and five mechanical knobs you put coins in and rotate to vend pop cans I got it left on 1.50 vends so I can afford to keep it always filled when friends are over mine holds 155 cans

A compressor jacket can assist with decreasing the noise level. I would leave the refrigerant closed loop alone to prevent the refrigerant from leaking out. For sure that refrigerant is not available. If you want the interior of the cabinet to be a show piece then replace the cooling equipment entirely. That is a nice unit.
