Thank you for introducing me to Caustic and also for sharing your work in other modalities, especially the Circuit. You and other TH-camrs are inspiring!
Thanks! This one actually is mostly stock sounds (or modified stock sounds), so it's fully possible to make something cool with them if you work within their limitations.
When you were talking about using a filter to gradually bring in that modular arp- you do know you can record control and effect automation in Caustic, right?
i like using Caustic 3. i agree whole heartedly that it is a great music making app. i also use Reaper, and I like being able originate something in Caustic then importing it into Reaper.
I have both Caustic and Reaper, but I'm put off trying to create something as I am overwhelmed by their complexity. How difficult is it to learn how to create simple loops/tracks using both of those pieces of software?
@@jaysmith2858 Eezy Peezy. There are tons of tutorials on both pieces of software on TH-cam. Both pieces of software are fairly easy and powerful at the same time.
Great channel Gabe. I notice you use earbuds in many videos. Do you mix your music with them? I'd love to find an earbud I could use to mix my music with.
They're honestly super cheap Panasonic earbuds. They're not all that flat, but I know them really well. I do more proper mixing behind the scenes on Audio Technicas.
I love these Caustic 3 breakdowns. So helpful and succinct, and I love that you show us the finished product first! Many TH-camrs should take note.

Caustic a top app. Great track!
Love caustic. Been using it since version 1. So glad to find people still using it as well. There's not a better mobile DAW.
Thank you Gabe for this video, I myself am a heavy Caustic user, Try make a video about the "Caustic Mastering, app"
Yo dude, you go ham in these. I mainly only have stock sounds. I'm still trying my dude 😔

Cool stuff dude
Top app, I have it myself also they use to have a windows & mac version on their website.
Nice! :D
I think the tune is awesome but the Mix maybe could use some more spacing for the parts it sometimes Sounds really saturated in specific bands

Yup, I just prefer doing it in a DAW because it's easier.
@@GabeMillerMusic Awesome. Caustic is a hidden gem!

Nice bro
What headphones do you use?
I tried searching for Caustic App but Bandlab is what I found in Google play. Is it available in Google Play?
I did a quick Google search and it popped up, I don't think it's being supported anymore but as far as I can tell it still shows up
@@GabeMillerMusic I also searched it on Google and I found out it was only compatible on previous android versions
Nice
Finally a music production app and a tutorial that my ignorant A$$ can follow
Tu à raison...Fred
Ага.
