Zapier is about to release its AI in beta, however, it already has AI. I can connect to my Gmail account in any number of ways and run it through AI. I'm not sure what this guy is missing. I think he probably thinks Zapier is something different than it is turned into.
Lindy has a great UX. Very easy to get started building. And they understood that lots of pain is in the the breadth of daily admin tasks. And Flo is just a great visionary :)
Greg & Flo love the ‘unscripted,’ raw format-breaking things, failing and figuring stuff out ❤🔥That’s what entrepreneurship is all about. In today’s AI-driven world, we need more time to figure things out because this is new territory for all of us. Most startups are too afraid to embrace that. ✌ Adam
these are more "dynamic workflows" than agents (which is buzz word right now) -- I am still not sold on what couldn't be done in Zapier or Make and using your own Claude account. From their website, seems like their focus is all over the place (healthcare, consumer, EAs.) Best of luck to the Lindy team
The focus is very much b2b / prosumer! But yes we were taken by surprise when we saw a bunch of doctors adopt us, so spun up some pages for them :) Check out the video at 13:00 to see why it's closer to an agent than just a workflow.
Congrats on 100K subs Greg! Been following the show since your pod in the Shipyard with Dickie and Cole! Very well deserved man. Would love to have you on my show if you're down!
Flo here! Check out at 13:00 to see exactly how it's not just a chain / workflow. It's kind of a hybrid - we're letting you have as much structure as you want, and insert pure agents where needed, that can just "figure it out" depending on whatever event is unfolding, using whatever skills & permissions you give them.
We sometimes get too caught up in definitions. Let’s call it ‘Llms calling functions in a loop’. Anyway until models become more reliable you will see most ‘agent’ platforms go down this route. Using a graph/flow/steps is the best way to make agent workflows more reliable. Flows, evals, structured data & small tasks can get you pretty close to 100% reliability. See langgraph/ controlflow etc. I have no cred, but you can listen to Garry Tan on the mfm pod talk about it. I’ve seen some comments about this vs zapier/make. Which completely misses the signal. Go to zapier/make. Move the slider to +100k tasks or ops and check the price. For builders/devs,so much opportunity if you or your team can build something similar & can compete. From another perspective, it’s not agent vs automation. It’s agent + automation. The agent or llm is the interface. I.e here is my SOP, build and execute the flow.
# Example pizza type pizza = "Hawaiian pizza" # Check if the pizza is Hawaiian or has pineapple if pizza.lower() == "hawaiian pizza" or "pineapple" in pizza.lower(): print("Item not found in Italian menu.") else: print(f"The item '{pizza}' is available in the Italian menu.") :)
Bit salty 🧂 personally i am open to use open source or closed source as long as there is no compromise on data privacy. I am a developer and tired of this mentality. I just want to use something that gets shit done fast, end of story.
Dude trying to get every cliché in his intro! "Not enough people are talking about this. You are going to want to watch this entire episode. Especially wait for the end, it will blow your mind."
I wasted $400 mainly using the Lindy outreacher, it simply does not work as intended and support unfortunately sucks. In my case after a lead would reply, follow up emails would still be sent, which makes you look like an idiot when the lead has already expressed interest. It’s a good concept, but poorly executed. Save your money until something better comes out.

Startup idea: Set-up Lindy flows as a service.
good idea!
Yeah, I’m building my AI automation subscription-based services for SMBs right now
The most narrative power resides in concrete business use cases, such as an e-commerce business managing a surge in demand during Black Friday.

Is there a video that shows how Claude compliments Zapier or make?
Halfway through, lindy Agent seemed to create its own node to do a task. We are on n8n, and so far, that isn't possible
A must watch
:)
Love your videos! Really informative and have started working on an idea you discussed! Thanks alot bud

It’s less of an agent but more of a chain/workflow

yeah, i asked him how it differs from zapier, i knew people would want to hear his answer!

Do you record these on riverside ?
yeah
@ appreciate it’!Always great stuff man, congrats on 100k’
Which alt tab software is being used by Flo, I need this!!
Banger after banger, Greg. It really is sippin’ time baby
you know it!
so it's a competitor against Vapi, Retell and bland - exploiting the french market?
how is it different from zapier?
(Flo here :))
Zaps are automations, Lindies are agents! Smarter, persist context, learn continuously, and can have back and forth conversations.
@@flocrivello3891 I don't know you pretty much explained that in the whole vide.=o.
@@flocrivello3891 If they do learn continuously does deleting them pose an ethical problem?
I am ready to start building.. to help my people from Kenya
dont wait for being ready just build
the weekend is christmas for builders
This is legacy (Zapier/Make) workflow builder
amazing!
His keystrokes were in French! …. Awesome video! Making a Lindy account today
haha yeah
# Example pizza type
pizza = "Hawaiian pizza"
# Check if the pizza is Hawaiian or has pineapple
if pizza.lower() == "hawaiian pizza" or "pineapple" in pizza.lower():
print("Item not found in Italian menu.")
else:
print(f"The item '{pizza}' is available in the Italian menu.") :)
nice work
This is insane! Lindy is dope af. 👌
Gonna be creating a bunch of agents to do stuff I don't like doing but I know helps.
Scheduling or follow ups.
Good carry on !!!!
let's goo
filetype:pdf "Jobs to Be Done" AI assistant
Gregggyyyy boy sip sip sip lets go
its sippin time bb!!
Awesome video. Congrats on 100k+ subs!
appreciate you!
Just tried to book a demo. Miss fire sadly. Calendly would have done better.
Seems it's not an open source, so I consider it pure marketing video. Pay attention only to opensource like flowise and dify in this case
Bit salty 🧂 personally i am open to use open source or closed source as long as there is no compromise on data privacy. I am a developer and tired of this mentality. I just want to use something that gets shit done fast, end of story.
5000 hallucinating employees
Dude trying to get every cliché in his intro! "Not enough people are talking about this. You are going to want to watch this entire episode. Especially wait for the end, it will blow your mind."
sorry
Dont be. Got me hooked!!
This is crazy
wild
Cool video, but I can't explain how difficult this was to try to listen to his a podcast.
Nobody explained at all what was happening lol
sorry, will do better next time!
❤️❤️
Love😅
I used the transcript because I have the hardest time with accents. It’s like you have to listen twice as hard!
i hope he didn't break his keyboard from hard typing
he goes hard
SIPPIN
you forgot a baby in there!
Hiring AI employees is just a temporary solution. Your company will be fired next by your customers because they will use AI to replace you.
Heard a lot about Lindy lately - looks quite complicated though and Flo unfortunately has not done the greatest job explaining it
It’s just task automation. With a worse structure than Zapier. Was an early user, wish them the best though. Thanks for the epic content Greg!
anytime!
Not a agent lol 👎
45 minute commercial
"the business of the future" robots just talking to themselves people like you are destroying everything
TH-cam channel like yours fired within 6 months and you know what? You will cry i will laugh...😂
why will i cry, here's to you laughing!
Test
Lindy should br free for a week without having to put Mastercard/debitcard or any other card as such.

You're just like my wife hah. She has to turn on subtitles when watching movies with any British/Irish/etc actor.
