You mentioning Muse has made my day- I was in the front row when they came to New Zealand. Nothing could describe the experience of seeing your favourite band live, esp a band as legendary as that. Two thumbs up for being extra awesome today.
The host was so good! I hope that you finish it soon, and also I love the fiveawesomegirls and your personal channel italktosnakes. Thanks for being so awesome!
4 inches is a lot to say goodbye to! About a year ago I cut off 13 inches, that was a major goodbye! I donated it to Lock of Love so it was all worth it. Great video! :)
Okay! Liz and I are on the lookout for a concert close enough to drive to... which granted, for us, is a few hours... haha. They're not coming any time soon though. pout.
LOL So I went to the bookstore today, Kristina, right after school, and picked up a few books. The Host was among them, and of course I started it immediately. Imagine my surprise upon watching your video you had started it as well. Long story short, I really like it. ITS VERY different than Twilight, but I enjoy it.
I too share the pain of re-sheeting a recently stripped bed. Here is my labour-saving method: lay duvet out flat on floor, take the cover and turn it INSIDE OUT. Then stick your hands in and hike up the cover so each hand is shoved into one of the corners opposing the open end, and grab the corners of the duvet with each hand, through the covers. Hold tight, shake the covers down (which turns the cover the right side out again) then smooth, and it'll be on perfectly!
yesssss!! there are tons of birthdays in the May/June area. mine is on May 31st! i feel so outrageously young... turning 16... i just feel so much older than 16.
I LOOOVED IT!!! I loved it soo much I'm moving there.... in August.... I'm going to school at The Art Institute of Seattle.... For a degree in culinary arts
Jiminy! Later this week I am cutting my hair - but I'm cutting off like 12 inches and my hair is probably more famous and loved than me - so I understand the emotional issues. And I'm so glad someone else has to wrestle their duvet cover too! I just thought I was unskilled.
LOVE your hair. and my room loooooks exactly the same. the duvet cover issue is an international one i think...it's even harder in a tiny little dorm room...i always ended up overflowing into the hallway... lol i love mondays.
Living in Australia means I got the book like 10 days before you guys. (Sometimes living in the middle of the ocean has benefits) I'm about 80% of the way through reading it and love it for it's individuality from the Twilight series. I love it!
I was watching this video and when you started talking about the band question, I was truthfully thinking, 'wouldn't it be awesomely awesome if she said muse.' AND THEN YOU DID! I saw them live last year and they were fabulous. They are fabulous full stop. I have now decided that it would be a crime against everything awesome in the world if we did not become friends. So let's do it! ^_^
Oh, and you like Muse?! That's AWESOME! They're easily the best band of the moment. I went to see them play Wembley last June, and it was definitely the best concert I've ever been to.
What a coincidence!! I was just turning off Muse to watch your video. Definitely also my favorite band these days, and as far as I´ve heard they are exceptionally good live! I especially love Starlight, Supermassive Black Hole and Exo Politics! Amazing...
Being 20 is over rated =] Your hair is adorable, and I totally understand cutting off 4 inches. It's almost like cutting off a limb! lol. Have fun on your trip!
I saw MUSE live twice and was front row in the center both times! If you get the chance I definitely recommend it, it was FANTASTIC. and i'm not even a huge MUSE fan.
My roommates are reading The Host, and so far I can't tell if they like it or not. Both said they really have to pay attention because the plot is really complex. Once they finish reading it, they'll let me know if I'll like the book or not. Not that I haven't already said this, but Happy Birthday, Liane!
Weeding does reek..... Err.... Getting Weeded reeks... Reading however doesn't stink Happy Monday!!!! Yay long trips!!! Last year I took a trip for 3 weeks to Seattle and El Paso.... it was amazing
In a place called Staffordshire in the UK, handy as im English, 4 hour + drive though. Some good bands are playing, Muse are wicked, as a bass played, some riffs are amazingly bass driven, i LOVE hysteria!! If you havent listen to some early Muse stuff, they are a good consistant band, so im sure you'll like it
I love The Host. I'm actually only on page... *looks* 212. The beginning was a little slow for me - and you're right. It's completely different from Twilight - but it gets better, and I got a whole lot more into it as I went along. :]
I'm glad you went with the "drastic" haircut. It looks nice. I've done twelve inches before, now that's drastic! Happy birthday Liane! I agree with Kristina, I'm almost seven months into 20, and it's really boring. Also, anyone notice that Lauren's video tomorrow is going to be the 100th video?
I absolutely loved The Host! It took me a little bit longer to get into than Twilight (then again maybe that's because I read it over a couple days unlike the Twilight series which I read in its entirety over 4 days), but now I'm hooked! It was refreshingly different than anything I've read before. I look forward to hearing what you think of it!
The Host is quite possibly my favorite book ever. I just re-read it :) Oh, and I know that this comment comes WAY later than the actual video, but I decided to join your book club and read 50 books in the next year. Except, it's March, so I'm going to do 30 by the end of this year and then the remaining 20 in 2010. Yay for reading!
I'm reading the host right now too! I think we're in about the same spot, page 103 I think...and I concur with everything you said... it's not what I was expecting, but, I like it a lot so far!
The Host is Stephenie's best writing so far, in my opinion. She's getting so much better at character development, and her imagery is still brilliant. I liked it just as much, maybe more, than the Twilight series...and that's saying something. It wasn't nearly as predictable as Twilight, and it's a really interesting read. I'm in love. Can you tell? Enjoy reading The Host!! Please mention what you thought of it in your next video!
I just started reading The Host and it's pretty freakin' sweet! I'm only on chapter 12-ish though so we'll see what I think of it when it's over. Peace! And love the vid!
happy birthday, Liane!! I guess being in Germany I'm kinda spoiled with what I'm actually allowed to do at my age...we can drink with 16...but we have to be 18 to drive, vote and gamble and stuff...but we'll since I'm turning 21 next month I at least dont have to worry about drinking at Terminus :D yaaay!!
i've been reading host too! for some reason thou, when i first started reading it, i found it more interesting when i wasn't reading it than when i was. like i'd put the book down and think about it a lot more than when i was actually reading. hmm. but i really like it so far!! [now that i'm much further into the story]
Oh my gosh! That is so weird because this morning during Art class I went to the Stephanie Meyer website and looked at her playlist and listend to Muse for the entire day. And it was the first time I heard them...It's so weird! PS: I loved Define Normal! You must finish it!
i bought the host the other day too. it's pretty good so far, and definately different than twilight. hopefully it gets really interesting :D btw, your hair looks amazing!
I loved loved loved loved The Host by Stephenie Meyer! It's kinda slow at the end but it gets realllly good and Muse goodness like one of my favorite bands -3
i've been to a muse concert before in the front of the mosh pit it was amazing.... it was pretty crazy too because they had to stop playing for a bit because the crowd was getting to wild and pushing the barrier at the front out
Hmmmmmmmm.... Kristina's going on a long trip starting this Friday. Lauren and Lena's tour starts on Sunday. And Lauren mentioned on 4/29 that there would be a surprise about the tour... Dangit, now I really wish I lived on the East Coast.
I love love love your hair! and yeah i read define normal too :) i didn't think it was all that bad.. but i actually don't remember that much of it. and my friend just started reading the host so i'm going to steal it as soon as she's done!
Hahaha you are so cute. I actually found my Pokemon Yellow game but I didn't want to do the challenge thing because I don't really have time and I'd rather be reading a ton this summer. And I've been obsessed with Muse's song "Hysteria" since I saw Lena's a cappella group perform it. INTENSE. Have a good time on your long, exciting trip! XD
I have been listening to a capella muse all day.... heavennn.
You mentioning Muse has made my day- I was in the front row when they came to New Zealand. Nothing could describe the experience of seeing your favourite band live, esp a band as legendary as that.
Two thumbs up for being extra awesome today.
I love you hair! It looks so good.
And Happy Birthday Lianne.
Weading Reek. Awesome. x
That makes it sound very promising. Thank you!
Thanks Sam!
Hmmm... we should look through a magazine for ideas when I see you THIS WEEKEND!
The host was so good! I hope that you finish it soon, and also I love the fiveawesomegirls and your personal channel italktosnakes. Thanks for being so awesome!

MUSE is AWESOME!
I saw them twice last year.
They have such an awesome light show.
You should definetely go see them next time they're in the states!
The little montage thing in the middle there made me happy. And Muse=BOSS.
your hair looks really good... you have amazing energy...
I too share the pain of re-sheeting a recently stripped bed. Here is my labour-saving method: lay duvet out flat on floor, take the cover and turn it INSIDE OUT. I laughed a lot, and even cried a little.

Safety pins... what a good idea.
That just seems like a lot more work though.
those duvet covers are the devil!
and the speedracer driving fast was hilarious!
LOVE your hair.
and my room loooooks exactly the same.
the duvet cover issue is an international one i think...it's even harder in a tiny little dorm room...i always ended up overflowing into the hallway...
lol i love mondays.
When you said "Kind of a long trip" you reminded me of Hank Green.
Living in Australia means I got the book like 10 days before you guys. (Sometimes living in the middle of the ocean has benefits)
I'm about 80% of the way through reading it and love it for it's individuality from the Twilight series.

Define Normal was one of my favorite books a few years ago. aha.

I take mine off while I'm reading it, too. That way, it doesn't get all bent or torn.
Hmmmmmmmm....
Kristina's going on a long trip starting this Friday.

I found Muse pre-twilight.
Stephenie Meyers is awesome. I haven't been able to buy that book but you'll have to let all us fans know how it is when your done.
15!
INTENSE.
