I`m in my 60`s now and i have lived here for over 50 years, and I can safely say that successive councils are destroying this town with their bad decision making. If it carries on the way it`s going Kettering will no longer have a town centre. it will become just a town centre full of apartments.
Kettering just gets worse. No decent shops, full of estate agents, hair dressers, coffee shops or food places. Nothing for older teenagers to do and virtually no night life here any more. Council are too greedy with their shop rates and would rather have empty shops now. They'll end up with squatters soon.
