one of the coolest moments of the level was doing that, it looked and felt so immersive and realistic at the time especially in a firefight. masterpiece of a game.
I always liked how they augmented the difficulty by making Jo the "negotiator" instead of always having her save the actual negotiator. Little details like that were nice.
@@ikagura I know, right? Changing the context of some aspects of the missions to make them more difficult instead of just "player health go up, damage go down" and "enemy health go up, damage go up." It's so much more creative.
I wish there was different dialogue if you make it to the end really freaking fast. Kinda weird to hear Joanna say "I should've been quicker." when you speedrun through the level

Is there a lore explanation about the fact Joanna is there instead of that girl who was Cassandra in the first mission? Also what happened between Datadyne Extraction and this mission? I feel like the game cut many elements
I don't think they're the same person, just the same model. Just like she's also in the Carrington Institue. There's no skipped elements, just that Joanna returned with Caroll and Carrington took him to his Villa for a chat.
No, I got the UltraHDMI from VideoGamePerfection as they found three uninstalled kits from old stock literally behind a cupboard or something. It was installed by their contact in Greece to a Japanese console I bought on Ebay.

S-Video isn't better, this is native HDMI output -not- a converter. Way different. UltraHDMI is the best quality you can get out of it as it's its native quality.

Removing anti-aliasing is fully optional. UltraHDMI gives the clearest image, with or without antialiasing + other optional features, there's no contest.
It was in 2010 for the 10th anniversary but yeah. A re-release on PC along Halo would have been good... or maybe Microsoft thought it'd be too much work as they'd probably have to work on online and such. PD was already finished by a cleanup crew so just imagine further developing it.

Great video, I see your doing a time challenge..not to criticize you but a laptop gun is slow af you were better off on using the CMP10 submachine as it's alot quicker and effective
I'm not doing any challenges here, just playing the game. I like using the Laptop Gun as it's more unique compared to the CMP150 which is found on more levels.

I mean, UltraHDMI is native output too, it's a hardware mod, there's no upscaler or converter.
This game is just too much for the poor N64 to handle. Rare were fools for not releasing a Windows/Xbox version of this game.
Uhh...you do know there was an XBLA version, right? That they stuck in Rare Replay? That runs at a buttery smooth 60 FPS?
