Not just because of who's singing, but because Monarch and CyYu managed to capture something most covers can't: they don't JUST sing well, they nail the way the originals still sounded like media hosts, even when singing. It's hard to nail down what gives it that feeling, but these two are the only ones I've seen who weren't JUST trying to sing well. They understood the assignment perfectly.
Everyone’s on about Monarch-Vox and CyYu-Alastor(well deserved, this is a gem. I love the tech support referencing) but right out the bat, CyYu being Hispanic and doing Valentino sent a neuron
Okay, both were great, don't get me wrong, but FUCK OFF with how amazing that Alastor was! The voice was SO close and something I find even harder, the inflections. He has such a bounce to his voice, dropping high and low multiple times in a sentence, and the low has to come off menacing while the high is more showman, and you NAILED it. Also Siren being vox-level angry was gold ^_^
