The neighbor should be on the protagonist's side and the main character should be on the antagonist side I mean he breaks into his neighbors house and when he gets thrown out *trys again and the neighbor could kill him for breaking abd entering and self defence
No, that is actually incorrect because I believe, in one of the games the Neighbor actually kidnaps you.

That's not how stories work. The protagonist is the main character. The point of view. The perspective that we see the world from. Regardless of if they're good or bad. The antagonist is the opposing force. Regardless of if they're good or bad.
Take Megamind for example. Megamind is the bad guy. But he is the protagonist in his movie.
