YES I agree that the decrease in quantity for the mainline is the biggest pet peeve for Hasbro. Beast Morphers started out great while Dino Fury began providing slivers
@@ghostdestron to be fair I'm more upset on the lack of Beast-X King than I am the Dino Fury auxiliaries since the King Zord was so crucial in Season 2 and felt more like a centerpiece while the auxiliaries should be sold in packs and be nicely sculpted since they're otherwise lackluster on their own

@@ghostdestron Something tells me they’re going to hose us on the auxiliary zords If Bandai still would’ve had the toy license we would’ve had the Beast-X King Zord and some of the auxiliary zords from Dino Fury The way that has broke is treating the toy line of the franchise it’s almost a joke I understand that it is good to show love to the older series but at the same time I feel like it comes at the expense of what is currently going on right now because Hasbro is mostly known for transformers and G.I. Joe and other toy lines and I feel like they don’t place too much emphasis on Power Rangers outside of the lightning collection which at this point is really starting to annoy me
What i miss is with bandai is everytime i whould go to walmart or target there was always something for me to buy but with hasbro i can buy everything in one toy hunt i really miss the amount of stuff we got
Yes. Sure the quality wasn’t very good but the toy was there in store. I’ve seen a full megazord wave in store once; that’s it. Just one of each of the wave 1 Dino fury zords and one of the reasons I didn’t buy it was becuase I had already long owned the Amazon pack.
While not the biggest fan of the Ryusouls, part of me wonders had Bandai produced the toyline for Power Rangers Dino Fury, the collectible aspect of the Dino Fury Keys would've been an element.
Dosm indirectly admitting that Hasbro doesn't care about the brand and their toys are not up to the same quality as Bandai, lol. We know bro, it's okay to say it. People hate the truth, but it needs to be said.
I’m gonna be completely honest, while some of the toys hasbro had made are great it, most aren’t great. My biggest complaint is the mega zords they’ve made as tbt I don’t Iike the way they’ve made them compared to how Bandai made them. I mean even after collecting 3 of them in 2019 I kinda felt like I was done collecting them and that’s what I did.
Well tbf, the Neo Saban era of megazords weren’t the greatest either. And even if I was interested in getting one of the megazords, I would rather get the sentai version. The Beast Morphers isn’t the best but it did improve some stuff on the original Go-Busters toy. Dino Fury isn’t complete yet so we still don’t know if we are going to get the dimetro, pachy and raptors yet, but the megazords themselves I think are an improvement compared to the sentai ones cause you can actually do a lot of cool display poses that you can’t do with the sentai one. I think another thing is covid and burnout maybe why people don’t want to collect the Hasbro mechs.
For me, I've never been big into the main Ranger figures. I've always been more interested in monsters. Bandai back in mmpr did tons of monsters, but as they went on, we got less and less. Maybe we'd get a main villain, but that was usually it. Dino Charge started with a good bunch of villain figures, then completely dropped them. So with Hasbro, I'm fine with the Rangers being slow to come out, since I almost never buy them initially.(Beast Morphers has been the only season I bought all the Rangers the year they came out)
The toys that Hasbro has made are, IMO, better than Bandai toys. The problem is that all the lines are tiny and have small distributions. I've said this before, but Dino Fury's toyline was basically tailor made for recycling assets. Have the base versions of the Rangers, and just package different snap on armors that can be used on any of the Rangers. The lack of auxiliary Zords is also a shame because Hasbro's Zords, overall, are WAY better than Bandai's. And speaking of Megazords, Bandai was also consistent about having figure-size versions of Megazords, with Ninja Steel being the only one to not have one since MMPR. Sure, we get the giant 2ft toys, but we haven't gotten 5" versions of any of the Beast Morphers or Dino Fury Megazords.
Agreed now I do hope that since Dino fury isn’t over yet, that means we could see the dimetro, pachy and the raptors in the fall cause I really do love the Dino Fury Megazord as you can actually pose them. And at the end of the day, Hasbro is still new to the brand so it’s not their main priority but I do hope that the weapons do get better in quality
In general if they completed the zord line up they would be great but for some reason they never made the Lion Racer zord. We also have not gotten the small zords for Dino Fury yet. It also seems Hasbro itself is unsure if they will be making them or not. It does not help we are getting a new Dino Megazord from them when they have not completed their mainline toy line up.
I will agree that it really does feel like the Lightning Collection as well as other collector toys seems to be Hasbro's primary focus when it comes to Power Rangers toys. Even though I'm primarily interested in the LC I still think it's very dumb that they're skimping out on main show toys. At this point, I find it hard to believe they'll pick seasons based on what has the cooler-looking toys. Seeing as they haven't really done what made those Sentai toylines so cool. Not only have they not taken advantage of Dino Fury's gimmicks with the keys and armors but also not releasing all the zords. If they're really only gonna put this much effort in the mainline toys then they really have no excuse to not adapt seasons like Toqger and Zyuohger just because they think their themes won't sell. If you're already putting out so few toys on a theme that you think won't appeal to a massive audience then I don't think it'll hurt you. Especially if most of the money you're making is from the Lightning Collection anyways.
I really miss the figure and zord toy lines. The figures, because I think they’re sturdier than the Hasbro versions. And the zords, because of the Zordbuilder system.
The zord builder system was cool, but it really wasn’t something a fan would mess with really. I didn’t own any zord builder toys and wasn’t a fan on picking them up cause it wasn’t that interesting compared to doing the combinations actually used in the show.
I’m collecting the villains, but the quality of Bandai compared to hasbro is second to none, the legacy weapons actually felt worth the money. The megazords also, hasbro are making the megazords looking cheap, cheap plastic with no weight to it. Nothing saying it’s worth the money.
I miss how oversaturated Bandai's toylines were. Sure cutting back on product is much better for the environment and for profit margins but sometimes you just want to walk into the store and find 3 different motorcycles for the Red Ranger along with 2 different armor lines, with only 1 out of those 8 figures actually making it into the show.
Yeah I know as soon the 6th ranger shows up we get the morpher but with Hasbro we didn’t we get the main morpher and then the Dino knight morpher and I think I know why we have not got the Mosa morpher because it a gun like toy and Hasbro may not want to take a chance with it that’s my guess
say what you want about Bandai’s quality but at least they consistently got toys on shelves. Not only were they on time but if it was in the show 99% of the time you’d see it on the shelf next time you were in the store.
bandai only had to make modes for American exclusive toys as much of its mainline were recycled sentai molds allowing them to come out so early. hasbro has to make everything from scratch and has had to deal with three years of supply chain problems from the pandemic to numerous cargo ships stuck at sea waiting for their port number to come up. this did effect their main toyline as only three waves for beast morphers as the last got canceled due to pandemic. hasbro has made an effort to get more villians for the rangers to fight compared to bandai from in space to super mega force where you maxed out at four with most seasons with just two villians. dino charge and ninja steel had as many villians if not more created then there were made from in space until then.
Well I mean if they’re going to continue to adapt sentai they already have a head start becuase they can start on the designs as soon as they know the season. Besides I’m talking about the fact you can’t ever find the flagship zords. For beast morphers I’ve never seen either of the robot zords in store and I’ve seen a full wave of Dino fury once in another freakin state. At least with Bandai you were garenteed to be able to pick up at least 2 megazords in any given shopping trip.
@Mary Morrison I agree. It seems like the zords come out piece by piece or something 🤔 one store might have them some don't and they don't make all the zords beast x king never got made
I miss going to toysrus after Christmas and seeing all the new power rangers toys for the next season. Now I am glad that Hasbro bought the brand cause the ninja steel toyline was a complete joke so I am glad that they lost the brand. Like we Didn’t even get Legacy Shogun Megazord. I do hope the main line for pr gets better on Hasbro side, especially the toy gimmick and Role play toys.
@Mary Morrison yeah they really need people who legit enjoy the franchise. I get Power Rangers isn’t their main brand compared to their others but at least those other brands have people that care about that brand. Like they messed up both of the Wild Force rangers we have so far plus accessories are not consistent at all between teams. Like How dumb can you be to not know that the Dino charge rangers get their signature weapons via Dino steel. Like is it hard to google???
@Mary Morrison agreed I feel BANDAI nailed the release schedule perfectly, even if they dropped the ball during ninja steel. Hasbro clearly can do a good job as seen with their other brands they just have to get used to having power rangers in order to put effort into that brand
I love the lightning collection, Zords and Morphers better than what Bandai was giving us however I personally believe Hasbro is incredibly stupid for not taking full advantage of Beast Morphers and Dino Fury toy line. Even if they didn't get enough space on retail spaces I'm pretty sure making more Amazon exclusives would be a better. I also think Hasbro as a company is on a downfall imo.

They clearly have dropped the ball and disappointed fans more IMO since they were touted as the "superior" manufacturers with the Transformers hype.
I think it’s more that for Hasbro, Power Rangers isn’t their primary brand like people thought it would be so in ways it’s understandable that the power rangers toyline is lacking right now
yeah Hasbro's consistency and ability to branch out from mmpr seems non-existent. i'd give it only a few more years if that before they close up shop if they keep up at this habit. they're trying to apeal to the older generation to the point that they're missing out on the new generations all together. hate to say it, but the show is on the clock now.
From the Sentai side, sales have dropped due to not selling for the American market, and I feel on the American side, the franchise is not the size it once was. Do you think it is partly due to the partnership with Bandai?
I agree the distribution and variety was much better in the Power Rangers main line when Bandai owned the license. I also liked on the legacy line teams (as far as the ones they made) were completed faster. Still cant believe SPD B Squad Yellow hasn't been made yet.
Love the lightning collection but I grew up with Bandai and I have a lot of memories with them me and my friends all tried to collect the figures and we watched it together mainly Dino charge I just miss it 😭
December used to be so exciting for the next season of toys. I dropped off after Jungle Fury for a while but then when Super Megaforce was coming out around that Black Friday, that same feeling of excitement for the new toys came back cuz I was ready to go key hunting for the next year. I miss that level of hype for new mainline toys.
two things i miss is the Action Hero figure line it makes the figures can be in the ninja steel Megazord although Bandai did introduce the swappable hands for the action hero ninja steel figures another thing i miss is the Zord lines like the Drivemax Megazord to High Octane Megazord and also one other zord line Jungle Fury is like one of my favorite seasons aside with Wild Force being my first one now that Bandai is no longer doing them and Hasbro is doing what they can i sure would love to get my hands on those lines of Zords but to be honest i actually miss the zord lines more than the figures if they could I’d like to see Hasbro do is bring the Zords back from each series since they did the Dino Megazord
Is this a joke? I remember getting the jungle fury Morphers when I was 9 & they looked nothing like the show Morphers, the RPM Morpher when I was 10 & only ONE button worked for something that’s meant to be a CELL PHONE Morpher wtf & also the samuraizers that had no lights or changeable screens like the show, also only the gold button worked, the super megaforce ranger keys were HALF the size of the Japanese keys as if the japan keys weren’t already tiny, the ninja steel toys didn’t spin despite the show constantly promoting the spin gimick, if they did the Dino fury Morphers there would be no lights & paint missing
Hasbro is straight trash. I need to handle my Legacy zords just to remember what quality zords feel like in my hands. The rubber Zeo megazord is trash. I literally don't give a shit about the overpriced ZAP zords that are taking lightyears to make. I have every Legacy zord already and just wanted Bandai to make the damn Shogun mz.
Well Beast Morphers and Dino Fury while nothing amazing are better than 80% of what Neo Saban did. The toys have been a mixed bag. The lightning collection in solid with some hiccups here and there and the main toyline is hit or miss. Power Rangers isn’t hasbro’s main priority so it’s understandable that it’s lacking compared to BANDAI. At the very least the toyline hasn’t been ninja steel bad yet.
@@KamiNoRanger99 nah both are fine seasons and definitely not the worst seasons. They are way WAY better than Ninja crap, super mega fail and samurai any day
The one that Bandai did that ABSOLUTELY HATED was when they released a new line (like the Legacy Collection) they would ALWAYS release Mighty Morphin over seasons like Time Force and In Space and other seasons that were MUCH BETTER. I'm glad that Hasbro has acknowledged more than just Mighty Morphin.
Of course for an american Bandai will be the best. But thanks to Hasbro the international distribution of Power Rangers toys is just so much better compared to measly efforts of Bandai back in Neo Saban era. Furthermore, Hasbro Pulse is slowly opening to other markets, so unlike the Legacy line, I can finally buy straight from the source rather from a scalper.
I much prefer Hasbro’s figures, both te basic and Lightning Collection to Bandai’s do to articulation and design aesthetic but much prefer Bandai’s zord completion. I skipped Cosmoraptor, assuming Hasbro would complete all zords which might very well not be the case. I am not specifically speaking as a collector; imagine being a kid seeing a particular zord on screen and wishing to buy it only to learn it does not exist on shelves
YES I agree that the decrease in quantity for the mainline is the biggest pet peeve for Hasbro. Beast Morphers started out great while Dino Fury began providing slivers

I think all the lightning sculpts are better except for the psycho's and monsters. bandai did it better. something is off with the hasbro ones.
This cool video mister dosmrider
I think your local walmart/target are just bad at getting product, all my local ones have a HUGE PR section.
Hasbro is garbage, in terms of the show and toys
Well Beast Morphers and Dino Fury while nothing amazing are better than 80% of what Neo Saban did. The toys have been a mixed bag. The lightning collection in solid with some hiccups here and there and the main toyline is hit or miss. Power Rangers isn’t hasbro’s main priority so it’s understandable that it’s lacking compared to BANDAI. At the very least the toyline hasn’t been ninja steel bad yet.
@@arkanamaster4961 Beast Morphers was blah and Dino Fury is arguably the worst season
@@KamiNoRanger99 nah both are fine seasons and definitely not the worst seasons. They are way WAY better than Ninja crap, super mega fail and samurai any day
@@arkanamaster4961 Dino Fury is pretty trash IMO
@@KamiNoRanger99 well I guess that is your opinion cause I personally love the season and rather take it over ninja steel and Megaforce
Hasbro's toys are great in Quality and looks, etc., But what I don't like is that they release a lot less toys than Bandai's good old days
GET ME PICTURES OF BANDAI! (re: JK Simmmons thumbnail)
Basically hasbro already ruined the power rangers toy line now Try to do something creative differently now
