Also, ssj blue means guaranteed lr, ssj3 means ssr, ssj2 and 1 dont matter, in the new exclusive animations you SPECIFICALLY need a trunk's flying in, because its a chance for a guaranteed trunks rewind animation that guarantees the new featured unit, also, the leader skills here matter more than in dbl, plus, you should summon for the gohan, zamasu, and ssjb goku and vegeta since they're the better characters, trunks is also good but not better, in the normal summons where its NOT the current banners, the animations are different, and your mainly looking for whis and beerus or beerus ALONE flying in, in the normal summons there isnt ssjb goku but only a ssj god, and an ssj god animation ONLY means 3 guaranteed random ssr's, the vegito animation on both means an lr OR a t-ur, but the vegito blue guarantees A featured unit from the banner
The zeno animation is a guarantee for THE new unit as well
Theres also a goku black rift summon where the background is blue, that also guarantees the newest unit
And, if you get a dupe of a unit, you can and should use THE DUPE in the hidden potential system, and always open the bottom right node. ALWAYS, and you should make a dodge build on ATTACK BASED characters since their defense is risky
As someone who plays both games, it'll deffinetly help with creating videos to play one game when the other is dry. In my opinion, the animations and ost in this game really make it far more bearable compared to its early days.
If this becomes a long term thing (likely not, as you said, the gameplay isn't for you) I reccomend asking players like DaTruth or Goresh for tips.

i mean, i can totally agree. legends’ recent LF units are just a ssj goku that is the same as the old one and a GT goku with a bad tag so he has lesser buffs than normal

Kauba!!! Every unit in the green tab is featured, and you can look at all their awakened arts aswell. "Carnival featured", "LR" and "DOKKANFEST exclusive" all appear when you summon units that RELEASED on those banners.
Lr for legendary banner releases
Dokkanfest for dokkanfest releases
And carnival featured for lrs that RELEASED ON a carnival banner.
Also lr vegito blue and zamasu are also on new banners RIGHT BELOW! DO NOT SKIP!!! THEY ARE NEW AND FIRE!!! Unless you want to. Also, if no music plays in the summon, high chance of something good.
Character combos exsist when summoning.
If tien and chiaotsu are the only ones behind goku (which you got btw) guarentees LR
The updated transformations when you pull back and fire at the meteor are temporary.
After the celebration ends, it goes back to the old ss, ss2, ss3, and ss god animations.
Hope you continue to play dokkan after all this time!

The name 'carnival featured' is a bit misleading because those units are not the only featured ones on the banner. Carnival featured actually means Carnival LR which is a higher rarity than a normal LR
