Those costumes always make me think that this is the straight version of San Francisco's Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. This parade always gave me the creeps when I was a child, to be honest. When men do garish they go all the way -- no holds on outlandish ornaments in the brightest colors available. But it looks like they're having a good time.

That's one thing I do miss about New Year's in Philly is the Mummers Parade... it was always on in our house on TV on New Year's Day
...my dad loved parades and marching bands and loved the mummers!!!
