It's amazing how many of us have looked for this wave border pattern and luckily found you. Your instructions are on-point and easy peasy to do. Ditto to all comments. Thank you. 💜 Mary (NY)
The best part of this video is that you thought to show to address the corners. So many of these demo's fail to do this and I wind up not ding them. Thanks for a great, easy to follow tutorial.
Thanks Richard, I do get so frustrated when a pattern doesn't explain corners, it's like they conveniently don't exist lol. Pleased you liked the video, thanks for watching :)
I am experienced at crocheting, but have never done this border before. Love it & I picked it up so easily because of the way you explain it. Thanks for taking the time to post step by step instructions.
Hello from Lodi, California. I'm one of those someones you helped, thank you. The way you did this solved two of my issues: not enough stitches on a blanket needing a border and turning the corner.
Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial, now my edging feels so much better and looks more professional while on camera. I cannot thank you enough grandma. My mum will be happy when I show her my immaculate skills when I get home tonight. :)
Your tutorial was fantastic in every way! Your camera was spot on, your narrative was short, not lingering, but very informative! I really appreciated this translation and can't wait to try it! Thank you very much!
You demonstrated this Wave Fan Edging so beautifully. I am not good on following written instructions, I like to see how it's been done and thank you so much that was very thorough. Thank you so much Miss Girly. In my church we do blankets for humanity project and we want them to have edgings but because I am not so skilled in crocheting I do the simple stitch but I am glad I found this demo of yours. I will try it for my project, a table runner. God bless you.
I am so glad you did this in English I see a lot of patterns but being from the US I can’t understand them. I made an Afghan several years ago just to try the pattern well now I’m going to give it a border thank you so much
Your corner solution is perfect. Wish I would have watched it before I decided I could do it myself. Your solution is more elegant. Thanks for the great video of a very cool border.
thank you for the video. I like that I can understand what you are saying and how you are doing it. You are not speaking too fast and moving at a good pace. thank you.
That is the prettiest border I love it. Now if I had to read this pattern I would fail but being able to watch you as many times as I need is awesome, so thank you for sharing your knowledge.
When I seen this stitch I said I have to have it, but was afraid at first because it looked hard, but I took the plunge and dove right in. It really was easy like you said, I added to a baby blanket and I'll post it when I'm done. Thanks soooo much.
Thank you for the 'very easy to understand' tutorial . I've haven't been able to master the Wave Fan Edge stitch and was ready to give up. Now I can complete my project with this amazing looking finish. Again, thanks
Thank you!! Had the same problem trying to figure out this stitch - they were all in Russian. You explain so well and include a corner technique. Thank you!!
Lovely! Thank you. Super clear tutorial. Had the stitch sequence memorised in under 5 minutes and whizzed around my lacy shell stitch baby blanket in no time.
Brill!!!.. It looks so complicated, but I love easy projects and this is one of the easiest I've seen I think.. for maximum effect! Thanks for watching. :)
Thank you so much for making this video! I had tried so many times to watch and understand the original and I was unfortunately unsuccessful. Your video is easy to follow and now I can even do the corners without issues! Thank you!
Fantastic thank you it is just what I need to finish of a broomstick lace scarf I am working it types it in really well I have worked it over 5 stitches & it worked out fine I did 9 trebles instead of 7. Thank you so much for such a easy to understand tutorial
I've not yet run across the Russian videos you're talking about, but I'm grateful that you've made this one, since apparently they don't show how to handle corners. I would have been frustrated trying to figure it all out had I stumbled upon a Russian language vid. For me, it's Spanish. I've been trying to keep up just by watching what the video maker is doing, but I've finally realized it's in my best interest to learn the names of the stitches and more so that I can properly take advantage of those tutorials. I'll tell you now though, compared to the language difficulties, converting from UK stitch names to US convention is a walk in the park. lol
Thanks Dawn, I am slowly converting my videos to left handed ones, where I can. Glad you were able to follow along with this one. I hate that I can't crochet left handed to help everyone out. Hope my flipped videos are of some use to folks. Thanks for watching :)
hi thanks so much for this tutorial made my grandson first blanket he's on his way in may as where in Britain weather not always warm I was looking for boarder and found your video it came out looking amazing I'm so pleased big☺ to you so easy to follow many many thanks kelly
Thanks so much for doing this tutorial. It was very easy to follow and the corners worked out perfectly. I was looking for something different to finish my afghan and this worked beautifully. :)
Brilliant tutorial. Thanks for explaining the corners and differing amounts of end stitches. Definitely going to try this on a throw that needs a border. Again, thank you
Thankyou so much for this video, I am trying it for the first time and the videos I was looking at were to fast, I really like that you recap and zoom into the difficult stitches as well! I have subscribed to you xxxxxx have a happy day
May 26, 2017*** So many thanks for showing how to do the corners on the wave border! I made a baby blanket and this was the perfect finishing touch it needed!! (I loved it and was wondering how that would've been done and your video showed how easy it was)
Hi Trish, so pleased you found the video helpful! I get frustrated when people skip the corners.. so I thought I'd give it a go and turned out it' easy. Thanks for watching :)
Thanks for the easy to follow video and instructions.. I just wanted to mention that when I watched the Russian video the back stitch behind is a twisted stitch from left to right, not right to left.
I am so chuffed to have found your tutorial. You are so good at making it easy to understand. I have just done this border to finish my baby blanket in Crystal waves pattern and it looks amazing. Thank you😚😚😚☺
Thanks so much for doing this tutorial. I often see tutorials in other languages that are lovely but have never attempted to decipher them. I have used this beautiful edging twice now and love the results.
Hi dearest, i love your wave fan edging, very beautiful and clear tutorial. In fact i love all your tutorials, good. Keep it up. Love, Linda, Singapore.
Thanks a lot for sharing :) I'm a beginner and was looking for something nice-looking but easy to do for my first blanket. Thanks again for the tutorial!
thankyou for showing the corner, none of the videos i watched did this. ive crotcheted a baby blanket in bobble stitch and wanted a pretty stitch to finish that wasnt too lacy. now i need to work out how many single crochets to do for an even border.
Girlybunches Since I was a rather young girl, my mom started me with a Doily. Then I moved on to buffet runners, pillow cases, armrest and headrest protectors. And then I made a skirt 😀 Crochet was not as adventurous when it came to type of applications for the skill, however great my skill was at doing it. I was really good then, so now it's like starting over again. I guess it will be like riding a bike hopefully. I am pretty good with the knitting so I won't let crochet whip me at all 😄
THANK YOU! Beautifully done, with such very helpful detail! I love that you showed how to make adjustments! I’ll be checking out more of you channels. 💗
Thank you so much “girly bunches” l am fairly new at crocheting , my first project is a blanket for a queen size bed and this border was perfect ; l had to watch your instructions a few times but l finally got it , you are a great teacher- thank you. ❤️❤️
Excellant video .. easy 2 follow and absolutely perfect tutorial ... love it and thank you sooooooo much for sharing .. can't wait to find and explore more videos that u have done .. once again Thank you
I'm currently working on adding this border to an afghan done completely in dc (US sc). I didn't like the look of the trebles against the dc, so I'm doing 4 dc across the base, and changing the 7 tr part to "dc, htr, 3tr, htr, dc". It seems to sit flatter. I sure hope I can work out the corners. Thanks for this tute - it's so easy to follow.

Thank you so much for this... And the refreshing honesty about it not being your pattern and giving links. You explain wonderfully!

You're welcome Deborah, it's hard to find a balance between to much info and not enough. Glad you found
it the right amount. Thanks for watching :)
Hello from Lodi, California.
I'm one of those someones you helped, thank you.

She does not over explain things which is wonderful!!!!!!

I can't wait to try this! It's exactly what I needed to finish a baby blanket for a boy - not too "frilly". Thank you!!
Ahh Great! Boys are hard to crochet for aren't they. Yes I can see that could work really well. Thank you for watching :)
thank you for the video. I like that I can understand what you are saying and how you are doing it. You are not speaking too fast and moving at a good pace. thank you.
At last wonderfully, simple and easy to understand instructions on how to achieve this lovely edging pattern. Thank you.
I like how you explained and turned over the stitches to get a better look see on how to attach the 4 chains. Thank-you.
That is the prettiest border I love it. Now if I had to read this pattern I would fail but being able to watch you as many times as I need is awesome, so thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Haha yes me too, I think my head would melt!! Sometimes it's just easier to show than read instructions. Pleased you like it :)
I have one person I get 99.9% of all my crochet patterns from. I think I need to add you into my short list. I loved this pattern.
Thank you so much! I am pleased you liked my video. Thank you for watching :)

Great Darlene, sometimes you just have to have a go... glad it worked for you. Thanks for watching lovely :)
Crafting happiness has a great video. It tells you how to work through not having enough time stitches. Nastazia also does a great video.
Thank you for the 'very easy to understand' tutorial . I've haven't been able to master the Wave Fan Edge stitch and was ready to give up. Now I can complete my project with this amazing looking finish. Again, thanks
Great, I am so pleased, thanks for watching :)

Merci pour ce tuto qui est super bien expliqué, je viens de finir mon dessus de coussin et le rendu de la bordure est magnifique.
Je suis tellement content que vous ayez aimé ma vidéo - merci pour vos gentils mots.
You are wonderful. You make everything so easy to follow. Thank you 💞
You're too kind Lynne, thank you.
So lovely. Subscribed! Love to hear a fellow Brit with a treble!
Beautiful and easy to do!
Thank you Nirmala :)
Oh it's one of my favourite edging. Thanks for the tutorial.
Well explained. Wondering about how you attach the last one to the first one
thanks!! this works like a charm!! 😀 loved your video!!
I'm pleased you like it Marysol, thanks for watching :)
I like your style especially where you gave instructions on how to problem solve not having enough trebles to attach the chain to and in doing the corner. You said that it looked good so you went with it (you sound like me) and told us how to successfully alter the pattern if we wanted more of an arch. I often problem solve myself when things don't look right (especially when I am combining elements of different patterns for my own unique project), but that usually entails undoing countless stitches and having gobs of yarn pulled out all over my desk and a day of work gone. So, I appreciate your tips. Since I liked your video, I went on over to your channel and looked at your videos. I was surprised that so many of them were patterns similar to ones I had recently looked up or were wanting to look up for future projects. So I subscribed. It's a pleasure.
Thank you, so pleased you didn't get put off by my rambling lol.. It's hard to show a thought process sometimes. Not for one minute do I think I get it right ... just seems to work for me, if that makes sense. Thank you for watching and subscribing! :)
I think that when it just seems to work for you, that means you have a knack for it whether you know why or not. ;)
