I'm not comparing WJSN to any group, but I must say, I really appreciate the fact that they did a throwback to this genre of music. It is totally different to the generic concepts that plagues the kpop industry nowadays. I was a kpop stan for a while and this gave me some serious 2nd gen vibes. I will vote for WJSN CHOCOME on all the music shows if I can. Everyone show this comeback and these girls some love!

Being into kpop for so many years, it’s so rare for me to instantly like a song nowadays because everything sounds pretty much the same. But THIS was something really fresh!! This song has major Orange Caramel vibes, and I love that CHOCOME is bringing this sound back!! It’s like how Bruno Mars brought back old school R&B styles in the modern era. Even The Weeknd brought back an 80s sound in “Blinding Lights.”
And to those of you saying this is plagiarism, Orange Caramel wasn’t the first group to do their concepts several years ago. Besides, what’s really original nowadays when everything’s practically been already done? I see this as more like bringing back an old style when it hasn’t been done for so long, like a “breath of fresh air,” just like how SSAK3 brought back the 1st gen kpop sound.

- March 2018
Members MeiQi & XuanYi competed on Produce101 China and placed 1st & 2nd respectively, they debuted in the Nation’s girl group RocketGirls101, selling out concerts and earning millions. The group disbanded June 2020 and the girls have not officially returned to Korea as they are currently busy with solo promotions.
- August 2018
WJSN started to promote as a 10 member group, we were suppose to see full OT13 this year but due to the pandemic their plans got pushed back.

- November 2015
The members were announced through 4 subunits; Wonder, Joy, Sweet & Natural. ( the last unit was announced around christmas )
They didn’t use the subunits and were later changed to teams/groupings instead as 5 months into debut, they added member YeonJung from IOI
- August 2016
They announced a collaboration subunit with MonstaX, YTeen is Kpop’s Largest CoEd group with 14 members, 7 members from each group.

- January 2018
They announced new subunits for WJSN as they switched to a new Dream school concept. The girls are divided into 3 Levels / years; Year 1, 2, 3 😐

starship has this habit of creating the best groups then not promoting them correctly
I've missed songs and concepts like this. Older kpop songs have such a unique sound that made me a fan to begin with, but the quirky concepts are starting to fade away. There aren't a whole lot of groups still doing this. This is probably going to be one of my favorites of 2020.

Real kpop dosen't really exist the kpop we listen to right now is as much kpop as it was back then. As the decades go on and years pass kpop artists are going to change and the songs they make might be different from what you like but that does not make it any less kpop
@@progressebiunor7483 Real kpop is the kpop I grew up with. Every music genre has its origins... It can change and evolve, but the roots will always be there, and this song brings us back to the golden era of kpop. Don't be salty, I can assume you were a kid back then, so sorry you could not enjoy it.

Honestly I'm huge fan of WJSN style, I mean it's quite different from the chocome unit's. But this is really beyond my imagination. Very interesting and retro style with high quality, and performed by four excellent girls. I REALLY LOVE IT💕💕💕
