great to see you continue to make progress, nice one, very similar steps to my 72 Mach 1 resto, I am coming across similar issues, we continue to learn and improve! with hindsight probably would have done the cut and butt away from the edge to make any dollying easier and ensure a smoother finish although difficult to tell from the bare metal how straight the edge is. Another observation, don't skip on lowering the welding mask on every weld including tack welds, not a good habit to get into.... unless I missed something
Thanks a bunch. My seam is a quarter inch below the peak of that body line which made hammer and dolly work easy. I always lower the helmet. I like being able to see what I'm welding. The time lapse makes it look funny sometimes.
Forgive my forgetfulness, but I am assuming you replaced the trunkfloor? Did you find your outer bumper bracket holes lined up okay with the angled structural pieces on the trunk floor? Did you have to do much maneuvering to get it all to line up? I guess that might have been the benefit to “cut and butt”… Nice content though👍
Thanks man! I replaced the whole floor. The bumper holes lined up fairly well. More adjustability is part of the reason I only did the bottom half of the tail panel.
Wow, it’s really coming along. Nice work.
Great progress!!!
Good ole Fritzee cut and butt, looking good my friend!
Your opening line made me laugh - so awesome!!
Man that’s a lot of snow
Great video brotha!
Keep up the awesome work!!!
"I think I'm gonna drink beer now. Yeehaw!" This is why I'm a subscriber. Okay, there's more to it than that but, still...
I see you were also enjoying this amazing cold weather we’re having here up north! Didn’t realize you were practically my neighbor.
Where abouts are you? I'm in Calgary, Alberta.
@@ElrodsGarageI am in Minnesota. So just south of the border.
Looking good! Keep motoring! 👍
Nice job brother 👍
