- I sold my camper van a few months ago and ordered a new teardrop trailer to be pulled by my new 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness. She came home today and I'm ecstatic!! :)

So I did a thing a couple years ago when I sold my condo and purchased the 2021 NuCamp 320S Boon dock with absolutely no regrets! I love the colorful vibe you've already got going as far as making it your own. BTW, I'm still trying to figure out how to utilize the rack on the back; I do have a sturdy stepstool at the ready! Consider the rack on your trailer for LIGHT duty. I made the mistake of putting weight on mine and soon discovered "trailer sway" the hard way 😱
@@onefastcyclistOh no! Not a good feeling, I'm sure. I have a sway bar. I wonder if that would help? I was afraid you were going to say the rack broke off, which would surprise me because these T@Bs are built so well!
@@jodybogdanovich4333 No, the rack didn't come off. When I was a newbie with my T@B I put too much Weight on the back: 5gal of gas and 3 gal of water on the rear rack. Poor weight distribution causes trailer sway: th-cam.com/video/JeEEC5eVNCk/w-d-xo.html
I have a lock & roll coupler/hitch which would be in conflict with an aftermarket anti-sway trailer bar that is not needed with proper weight distribution this is what I do with my rig: th-cam.com/video/YYTUDYdVE_Q/w-d-xo.html
Congrats - I've had good luck with my 2019 T@B 320 Boondock! Just be sure to change the Automatic Transmission fluid in your Tow car every 20k and frequent radiator coolant changes will keep you on the road!

We love ours! We have been out now for 4 trips and going again at the end of the month! Noticed you have a different stove. We just got a recall notice on that today! It is supposed to be replaced. Glad we found out about it before anything bad happened. Enjoy!
@donjohnsmusic3116 I love mine so much! 4 trips for me as well. It's winterized now, so I'm waiting for Spring. My stove is a Dometic, which is a great brand. What year is yours? I haven't heard about a recall so maybe it doesn't affect mine. Thanks!
@@melindaveganhiker We have a 2023. It does not include your stove, however, if I was you, I would call NuCamp and see what they say. Or have some qualified tech look at it. You don't want to mess around with a gas leak. We have only used our sink once, because it makes the little space heat up so quick, so we have been cooking outside. I guess we are lucky that we can keep ours ready to go year around. I actually plug my in, turn on the heat (50) when we have had a few cold snaps, but nothing to worry about here like further North. Matter of fact, it's going to be 80 here today! Happy camping!

@Don Johns Music The Dometic stoves in the pre 2023 are not affected by the recall. They went with a different brand recently.

There are pros and cons to both. I had the camper van for a few years and never thought I'd want a trailer, but we change. Dogs are the best traveling companions. ♥

I don't have a garage, but I know some people get theirs inside one. This one sits higher because it's an off-road "Boondock" model.
You have to deflate the tires a bit but it can be done

@@melindaveganhiker Wow, thanks for letting us know. It is a very nice trailer, and I hope you love it. That price is ridiculous to me, I think they should be less than half of that. I just picked up a small 2013 Jayco for $8000 USD and we are loving it! Thanks for the video.

@rampar77 This is a 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness with a 3,500 lb towing capacity. The teardrop weighs 1,900 lbs. More than enough. She tows exceptionally well.

I cured Diabetes with a plant-based diet 10 years ago so I know I'm reaping the awesome health benefits as well as doing the best for animals and our environment.
