Thanks to this bridge, my empty nester parents can see their grandkids (my brother’s) who live in Lapu-Lapu at least 2x a week instead of once a month. Previously, Pardo to Lapu-Lapu vice versa would take like 2.5 hours but using this bridge goes for around 30 minutes tops.
Have witnessed this in the making.. the beauty of the bridge compliments the beauty of the seas. i passed srp every work day..and saw the day by day construction. this construction is quite fast... Couldnt believe it that parts of it was standing already.. it was pandemic time before so by the time we go out... We are surprised that it parts stood up already! Amazing. Good its privatized because if it was a govt construction it will be very slow construction phase, sub standard materials and not a world-class design..
This new bridge can't solve the crazy traffic around Cebu City. Why not having building a subway (High speed train) from North to South to solve the problem.
What a pessimistic mindset you have there my friend. Like Rappler, you choose to look at the bad side of things turning a supposed celebration of a milestone into an unsolicited criticism as if it was foolish or idiotic to build this bridge just because it cannot solve the crazy traffic around the city, I mean who even told you this was suppose to solve the crazy traffic around the city to begin with?
I'm really proud of my country🇵🇭. This is the first time we built something like this, seems ambitious at first (for me) but it was achievable.
Happy to see this bridge realised! Since years years and years ago the city have proposed this!
we need to rebuild the whole Philippines
Wow.. it's perfect. I really like this kind of industry.
Acciona the best

Just letting you know travel time from cordova to srp only takes 10 minutes wd 45 kph.. Instead of 1.5 hours from first bridge due to traffic..
Typical Filipino Crab mentality
Bohol cebu brige na naman
Cebu Bohol friendship bridge!
Exchange of water from Bohol to Cebu.. then from Cebu to Bohol is electricity. That's what I've heard
