Mr. DiBlasio, when I began learning my instrument(Saxophone), I studied you and Mike Migliore. Especially you Sir. I appreciate the mastery of your instrument greatly. Thank you for the memories kind Sir.

Hey Denny. Yes it was Bunny that battled alcoholism. My trumpet repairman played with him and told me about it. These are great stories. Thanks for doing them.

Thank you Mr. Diblasio for sharing these incredible stories. Speaking of imitating, you are great at imitating Maynard's speaking voice. 😂

Hi Denis DiBlasio! Thank you so much for sharing! By the way, I thought I've seen a couple of videos of Maynard for a bit talk about listening to another person play. Again, thank you for sharing!

Interesting video. I just found out about Maynard a few months ago but I see a lot of guys liked him. So that perks my interest.

Hey, were you the fellow who wrote the tune 'Cajon Cookin'?

Maynard had a very high opinion of Clark Terry. If I'm not mistaken, he thought Terry had the best chops of any trumpeter.

I am really digging these little stories about Maynard. Some fans blow him up to god like status and that is tiresome. No one disputes his mastery of his instrument and his unique gift for High note fireworks. But its great to hear "the warts and all" stories of the real guy from someone who worked for him for years. I can tell you love him but I can also see a glimpse of the frustrations you felt with him at times. I will end up watching all of these "Story Times" Denis. Thanks for doing them!
