AJ is awesome. He does such a good job articulating the details and its cool to hear him talk about these races from his professional perspective. Great content!
I was able to attend this dudes training and it was awesome! Completely changed the way I ride and made me way more confident on the track. If you have the opportunity to train with this dude definitely take it.
Ive been watching aj training videos and re watch them sometimes and my riding has improved so much its ridiculous..obviously i still have heaps to work on..its hard on tracks to forget about everyone else and do drills like riding one armed or no sitting..but technique is so important..rather than just pinn it and hope..and crash..my son also watches them to..and he has improved majorly..we have never had training..been told what we should be doing and when and why..but all the info is at our finger tips now and the difference is amazing..i thank both your vids
Been ridding off and on for a long time. Had no clue about ridding on my toes. Saw it in another video awhile back and started paying attention to my form every time I ride. It is a game changer that's for sure! I'm so much faster without trying as hard. Much smoother too.
Is that because it’s so long because would love to see the full visual as i cant retain information unless i also see the faces and the movement. I know that’s just my problem. Is it possible to just think it in to first hour serving hour and last bit and upload them after all the clips have gone out as that would be great
Kenny for sure has the smoothest riding style I've ever seen it's ridiculous. Chase and Adam are definitely up there when it comes to smooth technique and I'd have to throw Jett in there as well.
Idk why when jet said he shift to 5 th in whoops everyone was so shocked I'm a shitty B rider and I e been doing this for yrs soon as I see whoops I shift up as far as I can let's u be way more consistent with the throttle and make suspension work so much better
doesnt mean his technique is better, he is a better racer. when you're racing you dont focus too much on keeping perfect technique, just being faster. webb has good racecraft and knows how and when to attack
@@dr00andrew I didn't mean in technique I mean studying Cooper and just how he rides using mental game. His race pace has been incredible from start to the finish this year, he is the best at the moment when it comes to the last 5 minutes of a race where it truly matters.
Travis pastrana is the best in the whoops... I'd put money on him to beat anybody in the whoops.. maybe not now because of injuries but Travis from 10 years ago
I was literally talking about this last night to my brother, travis was the fastest guy through a whoop section ever and anyone that wants to question that just needs to go and watch any of the supercross races he was in. The guy was an animal at attacking whoops
Did sexton just get that much better or do you think forkner if he keeps it on two wheels is still faster than sexton 250 or 450. Don’t get me wrong I’m a sexton fan and I don’t care that much for forkner but I felt forkner was just bit more faster back when they were in the same class. if sexton is making a great rookie debut makes you wonder what forkner would be like.
That arm will never be even close to 100% again. I personally think that's why he is known to fade, especially in the 2 years following that crash. But his form is damn perfect now because of it.
@@zacharysmith7872Supercross is mental game too bro. Listen what Aj says in the other gypsy tale video. He talks about how these guys ride so fast for so long in the main. This past race that just went by you had Webb, Roczen, Tomac, and Barcia as the front runners and the rest of the field was running 250 main event pace/lap times. That's mentality bro. Webb went down in qualifying in the whoops gets right back up. Webb goes down in his heat gets right back up and takes the main event. It's how bad you truly want it.
@@jordangamble3515 how can you compare his arm getting tired the same as every other riders arm gets tired? Do you know the extent of damage that he done? If you listen to what the doctors said he shouldn't even be riding again and was extremely close to amputation it was that fucked and that it will never ever be close to 100% in terms of strength or endurance his arms deffinetley feel it way more than other riders and its a medical fact
james was too forward. Check AJ's video where he breaks down Stewart's biggest crashes and most of them came down to too forward position and far too hard suspension settings
@@matevasas James is who all these guys looked at. James is Sextons coach. Watch James when he was on point. He just had more confidence which led to most of his crashes. And his success. I’ve seen the video.

Glad you mentioned Jett and Hunter. For my opinion, they have the best technique on the bike so far.

Proper technique also goes a long way to keep you safer when riding. You stay more in control of the bike instead of the bike controlling you so much.
can we not see the video in the full podcast? i love watching the video on clips
Bro I love your videos, rare in this sport to get breakdowns and explanations of certain styles and situations.
Thanks man!
And gypsy tales is great..the interviews are awesome..you are killing my sleep but..staying up watching your podcasts...
This is the technique Ryan Hughes REALLY REALLY tries to drill in everyone's head.
I’ve learned so much from
Aj. Dude can teach
Sexton and roczens style is so smooth to watch

Are we going to get to watch the full video from the podcast on spotify at some point or can we only listen to the full thing? Would love to see it!
We are trying to figure out how to make posting the full clips work for us.

Tim gajser is another guy that I think has amazing technique. Him and Sexton look very similar in terms of riding technique
Yeah one of the best for sure.
Well pointed idd
Tim has very good foot work.
That's the problem with the U.S mx scene they act as though mxgp doesn't exist, especially now that the euro boys are arguably better overall haha
@@tcmx712 Better outdoor, yes. Certainly not indoor. So they are not better ''overall'' I would say.
Good stuff. How about Prado? His technique is always perfect. Feet, arms, body position.
I agree with you, prado,s style is flawless, could watch him ride all day,, 👍
And Tim gasjer he has perfect technique and ridiculous speed to go with it as well
and TKO if you look at him he uses his length perfectly, by keeping his chest close to the handlebars and also his hips near the rear fender
AJ knows his shit and can describe it perfectly.
Cant wait to get on the bike and practice this
Let me know how you go
Marvin Musquin, Eli tomac, Barcia... they all got something to teach us.
Man to have all of these tips as a young man would have been so much help, Mcgrath was smooth but RC just sent the bike any and everywhere
On Point!
AJ is awesome

Anderson’s style as well
Jett??? I truly think Jett is a superstar and I'm a huge fan but he's more of a hectic James Stewart style than a smooth Kenny Roczen
@@tcmx712 who have you been watching? He has a silky smooth style literally polar opposite of James
When Eli Tomac is not off, or when he rides well, he is FAST he must be doing something right. I am just not sure why he is sooo off this year.
Anyone know what kind of chair AJ is sitting in?
Those who can’t, teach. AJ is a anomaly.... he does both
How can you teach something you can't do...
Is it true extra hair grease makes you ride faster???

They’re all Honda boys too 🔴
Yes Roczen and Sexton might have the best form of any rider atm. But man I'd rather study Cooper Webb over those guys...

My 2 cents from an old timer. David Bailey had “as close to perfect technique” in my humble opinion.

Hard to say man aye. Hopefully I'll get Austin on here soon and we can ask him.
Some people can't transition from 250 and 450 well. I've seen guys dominate 250 and can't do well 450s, and vice versa.
feet back and toes in is one of the best things i learnt from jay wilson yewwwwww
