- Held on the first Saturday in September, this annual event is the biggest horse race in Australia outside the Melbourne Cup and draws punters from around the world.
The 12 race programs features top horses from all over Australia and in excess of $100,000 in prize monies. Street stalls, Fred Brophy's Boxing. Arrive early to secure a good campsite and enjoy all the entertainment in the lead up to the big weekend.
