Hello, I went diving today with this camera using the default lens (the flat one) during a somewhat cloudy day and the footage was almost completely black where as my gopro hero 7 black had no issues. I even used two 1000 lumen flashlights on my rig and was only able to get a decent shot when i was almost touching my target. What settings should i use when diving with this camera as i want to use it mainly for diving?

Hey! Thanks for the video. I have a question: I went underwater with my Insta360 One R with 360 module and the shoots weren't good. When I tried to edit the video in the app I saw that there's like a "line" between the image of a lens and the other lens. When I use it normally you can't almost notice the line between the footage from a lens and the other but underwater yes and it ruined my shoots. Do you know why?
I've read so many reviews and seen so many videos where they leak. Manual even says not to jump in the water, which one thing I want to do with it. So this is a no go for me. I'd get the case anyway, but then it doesn't seem to be.a double protection but just a single protection, since they leak without the case. There is a reason why they are 1/2 the price of GoPro - you get what you pay for.
@@vnecksurferdude7041 I’ve seen a lot of people using them for surfing though, so I think a lot of the horror stories about them getting flooded are caused by user error, as the charging/SD port can be quite tricky. Although the GoPro hardware is most certainly better, the Insta360 is more reliable in terms of software

Did you use waterproof case during your diving?
Yes. I found that without the case the image from the camera doesn't look great.

Just to give you an update. My camera died in the shallow level of the sea without the waterproof case 🤣
@@OceanImaging Hi do you have any overheating issues in diving case, I saw that camera produces a lot of heat during recording.
@@111Anton333 No overheating issues but we were in quite cool (14 degree C) water which may have helped somewhat.

Are you able to get AquaVision enabled when your camera is having the 360 lens mod setup?
