Death Valley is an incredible place! There's a running race that takes place there every July: Badwater 135. It starts in the Badwater Basin, below sea level and ends at the foot of Mt Whitney the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states. It's 135 miles and the weather is usually around 120 degrees. Not for anyone except the hardiest!

#9 is on my bucket list from a distance. I live in Call and have no desire to go to Death Valley.
