  • This is a favourite camp for many people, especially my friend Eugene who rates this the best camp in the whole world. It is remote, it has two hides and a boma that overlooks the open seepline of the savannah. The rooms are perfectly situated on the mostly dry N`waswitsontso river and it gives a feeling of bush and savannah in one. Talamati has no restaurant nor swimming pool (which is perhaps its only drawback) but it is remoteness, this small camp is just for you. Special sightings at the waterhole includes Sable antelope and Serval Cat!

Great videos and I’m using them to plan a 2/4 week Kruger stay. Keep up the work … so great music 😊

Hi Homy! . Thanks so much for the comment. Please do take note that this camp has no camping facilities though... it is all chalets.

Hi Johann, I agree but I think Sanparks might not as there is already Marula camp site close by... but this is such a under-used and remote part of the Kruger, a small camp site won`t hurt... 🙂

Great vid. In your opinion, which would be the best chalet?

Thanks Noelleen! I would personally have chosen nr 15 as it has nobody on the one side and it is closer to the hide and boma.

Is the camp secure from wild life

Hi Elizabeth. All camps (except trail camps) in Kruger are fenced but there is no guarantee that it always keeps out animals. I had hyena next to my tent the other night in Skukuza.

Hi Elizabeth. All camps in Kruger are fenced except the walking trails... But it is not totally uncommon to sometimes find animals like Hyena and Honey badger in camp at some camps at night...
