What a fantastic day we had! I ended up finding a work around for the down computer (just downloaded the editing software onto my laptop) so I will be working long into the night tonight to have it up and good for tomorrow morning! Sadly, though, I'll have to wait to finish your video tomorrow. TH-cam being the marvelous videos site it is (said with sarcasm), I can't watch the video at high quality without it buffering every 15-20 seconds if that! Stupid electronics! That's why we run old equipment, haha!! Thanks again for joining us this year, even if it did end up only being 3 of us plowing! Can't wait for next years with hopefully a better turn out!

Growing up in a totally flat area in Southeast Missouri in the late 50 and early 60s I can't ever remember seeing an MD although Ms were everywhere. I did drive a 60 or 70 diesel once, but diesel tractors were not common when we left the farm in 1964. Olivers in our area were green, I know there was one Oliver dealer about 30 miles from where I grew up and a Case dealer in the town I lived in but Case tractors, M-M, were not often seen. John Deere, Farmall and Allis Chalmers were much more common. I never saw any of the older Case tractors in the field working. When we left the farm diesels were just making a big push into the market, mostly thanks to the 3010 and 4010 John Deeres. Four years later new gas tractors were rare. Love seeing the old iron working.

Nice to see the SC at work. I had one identical except without the tricycle wheel stance. It was an awesome work horse and took a lot of abuse and I never had any mechanical issues at all!

Now Squatch had his drawbar set right. The cat stayed on flat ground instead of one track in the furrow and the other on flat ground. Lesson learned from the inspection on the other!!!!

Great video. There is something hypnotic watch plows turn soil. I grew up in the San Joaquin Valley; caterpillar country. Lot of D2's with industrial seating and orchard seats. Great workhorse tractor. Your D2 did not change engine note when the plows were engaged; it seemed as if the three plows were child's play.

I live over 500 miles from you but I'd love to watch your tractors in action. My uncle had a farm about 20 miles from where we lived and when we visited it was always a treat. He had 4 tractors; 2 Farmall's A John Deere, and a Oliver. All of His equipment were 1937 models. He even had a 1937 Plymouth 4 door car and a Plymouth pick up same year. I think my cousin still has the car. They have plow matches near by ( 20 miles), hopefully the COVID thing will allow those to happen this year. Thanks for the great video. Looking for the next one. Be safe and well.
