A new favourite video. I'm a movie person (two of my three degrees are in Film Studies) and getting to hear my favourite ASMRtist talk about movies pretty much made my week. Happy to see that we also have a LOT in common - The English Patient is a top 5 movie for me too, and I'm constantly attacked for my love of it. The Winter Soldier is a perfect movie. Blade Runner is a top 10 choice. Our only differences were our Nolan choices - I'd switch in Interstellar and The Prestige. Can't wait for the DVD collection movie.
3:10 to Yuma is a great film! Too bad more people haven't seen it. Have you seen American Hustle? That's my favorite Christian Bale film. And Jeremy Renner, Jenn Law, Amy Adams and Bradley Cooper!! Jeez, just so good. I've rented it three times, probably need to buy it Just thinking about that film makes me want to watch it tomorrow :)
Yeah it's a really goodun' and sometimes you feel like the actors are trying to top each other with their acting skills. Which is great for the audience :)
I think a big reason the new Blade Runner is a flop is its length. It's a complete dud as far as a date movie is concerned. The thing is as long as the dang date!! WTF? I'm not criticizing it as a film, for me.I really want to see it :) I love to get into a great film and just live in its reality for a long long time. But the box office is going to depend upon young people who go on dates, isn't it? They want to go to a movie and eat, etc. etc. Of course, I was living in a different century, but everything can't be different. The movie is not the entire thing about a date!! hahaha

I do think The Prestige is great. Interstellar I enjoyed less than some of his other movies, but it was still good.
