I agree about having that strip ho to 1/4 mile. It really shows the top ends on these gassers. I like watching Gassers more than funny cars, and super stocks. These racers really know how to drive their cars..
As always DSR videos are off the charts WONDERFUL!! Thank you DSR, Thank you TH-cam and especially THANK YOU gasser owners, crew and drivers for spending all that hard earned cash to build, tune and drag those really cool hotrods to these race tracks for our viewing enoyment! All of you are AWESUM, AWESUM, AWESUM!! =)
COL POTTER SIR , Welcome back to the 4077TH , how the hell are yah DSR i'm currently doing my grade 12 online and boy is it tough ,just about as tough as getting a Section 8.
Hello, I seen you have some old UDRA stuff do you by chance have some video of Tom Sherburne Dodge Avenger? I own that car now and enjoy seeing old stuff on it! Thank you
6ft6guy 6ft6guy - I had to become my own major sponsor since the minor deals and small purses wouldn't sustain my program. Start your own business and put it's name on your car, then write it off as a business/advertising expense. Small sponsorships do help so gather as many as you can and be sure to take advantage of contingencies offered at any events you race in. Use the parts, display the stickers and get paid when you win or runner-up. Don't wait for it to happen, MAKE it happen. Good luck!
@@racer774 I have 2 businesses now and might just do that....if I wasn't so busy running my 2 businesses ...lol. I hear you and Im not getting any younger. Thanks for the push

Glad there doing the 1/4 mile, that’s what drag racing’s all about...plus I love to watch Gassers than funny cars or pro mods..
Great cars, great coverage, thanks.
Thank you!
Watching again and just realised how rare racing the 1/4 is. All these nostalgia drags should be the 1/4 mile.
I know, right? It's like we blinked and 1/4 mile racing has rapidly evaporated.
Loved it by the minute.
Just wish i could afford your videos.
Thanks
Thank you!
WOW, I'm glad they switched over to all 1/4mile racing....instead of the lame ass 1/8th mile crap.
yet another great video, awesome job
Thank you!
@@DragStripRiot hope all is well DSR (dawn), sure do miss the videos and haven't seen you at the track
Nova was sleepin’. .. Big Time. .. Oughta be “Arrested while driving blind” ..
So cool! Can you boost the volume of the track announcer? That would make these videos perfect...
Thank you!
Great event, great coverage but what is with the empty stands ? hate to see that.
It was a Friday qualifying session.
Nice
Thank you, Lou!

Sorry, no we do not.
Anyone know the name of the first white truck?
NICE. NOW HOW ABOUT SOME BURNOUTS, DRY HOPS AND BACKUP GIRLS! JUST THE SAME GASSERS ARE THE REAL DEAL! THANKS.
No burnouts or dry hops ...and no backup girls either at this event. Thank you all the same!
YOU'RE VERY WELCOME. GASSERS ARE STILL THE BACKBONE, CLASSIC AND TALENTED TYPE DRAG RACING. I LOVE IT.
I need to do this...looking for sponsors.

Are these cars (most anyway) running automatic transmissions? Sure sounds that way. IMHO, real Gassers use manuals.
There was quite a good mix of manual and automatics running. IMHO, the first thing that constitutes a Gasser is running GAS. ;-)

Automatic gassers are as boring as watching modern street stock racing at some local track. And so are their launches.
Right, wheelies are so boring to watch
