    “Empty your mind. Be formless. Shapeless. Like water. You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” - Bruce Lee

    "The more I know the more I don't know." Buddha knew everything about how to be human that's why he chose Nirvana. It takes many, many lifetimes to perfect how to be a human. Also, it's not a race, you can never skip anything about how to be a human, you will learn all the lessons one way or another. "Everything is in time and on time"

    I didn't understand. Can somebody explain this to me. The tea cup is overflowing with tea. How come the tea cup is empty then?

    • @secret2654
      @secret2654 ปีที่แล้ว

      The tea was overflowing because the cup was already full.
      So whatever the Master is going to teach to that man its gonna overflow on the mind of that man because its already filled with ideas and notions.
      So the man must empty his mind(empty the cup) to learn something new.
      But the irony is that the emptying of his mind is itself a teaching(Zen) thats enough.
      There is no spiritual knowledge that can be taught with words.
      Its the nothingness and silence which one achieves upon emptying the mind that makes a person enlightened or awakened.
      Hope this helps...

      @Da_Xman 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there justbeyou...!
      ✨🌈👋🥴✨
      Really, this information aboutthe empty cup is the very shallow end of the baby pool. What your asking about is the stillness and silence of meditation (the real grist for the mill). Some styles like Zen have special postures, but those aren't necessary. Others have become Awakened, Enlightened and Self Realized without any special ways to sit, thoughts to concentrate on or special ways of holding the legs and hands.
      If your serious, you might research Ramana Maharshi, Nissargadatta, Siddharameshwar and Shunryu Suzuki. The first 3 are Advaita and the last is Zen. These are two different methods. These guys are great, in depth, easy reading.
      This endeavor isn't for socialization and it's long haul. That may sound fai😢rly dreary but, persistence will provide what you hope for (guaranteed).
      With sincere application, it's possible to make serious headway that will change your life for the much better within a couple of months; you won't be sorry and you'll never look back. Absolute Truth is like that.
      Research these guys and find someone who you feel a connection with. Personally, since I came across Siddharameshwar's MASTER SELF REALIZATION, I've felt it would be perfect for introductory easy, in depth reading purposes as well as an advanced text.
      A method you can work with as soon as you're finished reading this would be "I Am". Just sit quietly, inhale deeply and exhale through your mouth several times. This will help get you together to do this. Then, take a look at the thought "I Am", which is the bottom line not only of your own existence, but of Existence Itself existing (which actually 1is your own Existence existing as well).
      Sit with those words "I Am" and simply look at them in your mind and consider them for a time. When you're comfortable with doing that, drop the words and look at the raw concept "I Am" without the words and try holding that wordless concept for a bit. It may seem awkward at first, but you'll gain traction simply by being still and silent while you continue your consideration of "I Am" without words.
      Paying attention to your thoughtless thought "I Am", remain still and silent as long as you're comfortable - "just be" and don't force or put any effort into it. When you feel you've got the idea, take a few breaths and end off. That stillness and silence you were attempting to engage with is where your thoughts are coming from (and that "where" is who you actually are).
      Now, start practicing that daily or as many times a day and as long as you wish (personal comfort can be very habit forming).
      As you do this practice, a "process" of Awakening will naturally begin on its own. The stillness and silence you offer to it will "strengthen" a very special connection/bond you already have with the very deepest part of your Self; the stronger you make that bond with stillness and silence, the more comfortable you will be. And, once you become aware of this deeper connection, you will never lose it - it's yours forever; some call it God, some The Absolute or Absolute Truth, some call it Consciousness and some call it Self. Pay attention to your life situations and see what you might see. There is nowhere Absolute Truth is not and there's nothing that's not Absolute Truth.
      This should give you a really good start while you do your research.
      Get ready for genuine meaning to your life and Existence Itself. This is what everyone is searching for in everything they do, but only come up with temporary rewards that end up disappointing. With persistent sincerity, THIS is permanent and will never disappoint, but instead, bring you the genuine comfort of peace of mind that you're looking for.
      Do a screenshot and save this for easy reference. You'll get the hang of it quickly.
      Keeping the fire in your heart burning and wanting Absolute Truth with all your Being will get you everything we're talking about here. Remember this: take one step towards God and God takes ten towards you. And, try imagining what happens if you take two or three more!
      This is more than enough. Get Siddharameshwar's book MASTER OF SELF REALIZATION (Amazon) and you're locked, loaded and definitely ready.
      Hope this is what you're asking about.
      And remember, this goes to the very depths of yourself where you will easily know that you are succeeding in reaching where you can REALLY "justbeyou".
      REALLY....
      One of the BIG "secrets" in this endeavor is to surrender as completely to this process of The Absolute as you can and love yourself as deeply as you can (because that's where it eventually goes). If you love yourself deeply, you automatically love everything always. And, that's what it's all about (there's real magic in this type of love).
      So...there ya go; be assured; hang in there and keep on keepin' on...!
      ✨🌈♥️👋🥴👍✨

    When I was young I kept hearing the line "empty your cup" over and over, and I never fully understood it. I even thought it was just BS. It was ego and pride that blocked me from knowing what it meant.
    When you're young, you think you know everything, and it's hard to accept the fact that you really don't, especially for someone who grew up blinded by the illusion of achievement and recognition of talent at such a young age. It is through defeat and grief that you realize that just like everyone else, you are all but a tiny speck of dust in the universe.
