How do you intend to return from India? Do you anticipate that direct flights will be available by the end of your trip? I'm asking because I'm also planning a trip to India at the end of October. So happy you will be visiting your families soon! I don't know if you've already left, but just some advice: keep the expensive gifts in your carry-on luggage!! Items are easily stolen from the luggage that you check at the airport. And, if your suitcase gets lost, those items will be gone!
